Me! Pick me! I'm jumping at the opportunity to throw away my many job opportunities to go to law school instead.

I had an experimental LG first section in February and I was pretty sure that it was experimental. Then when I got LG in the third section I knew it was the real one and got kind of hung up on doing it perfectly. I ended up spending ten minutes on the first game when I should have taken six. I was able to hurry a little and finish the section but did end up rushing on the last couple questions and probably missed one or two that I normally wouldn't have.

Think I'll do linear games today. More like 10-15 though. Doing 20 takes too long and doesn't leave enough time for proper review.

First rejection of the cycle. Thinking this is going to make me start studying for June.

Eventually. Today is for rum and taxes.

The difficulty I'm having in finding any job for the summer has strengthened my resolve to get into a good school with a good scholarship.

I'm realllly trying to motivate myself to start again like today. Probably Monday though. It's the weekend right? Kinda. I'm not taking until Oct though don't yell at me.

Anyway I ordered the Cambridge packets bound because I feel like a book will be much much easier for me to handle than hundreds of sheets of paper. I also have the Manhattan LR book that I used right before Feb. Plus all the BP books from the course but I'm not going to buy access to the videos again. Is there some 6 month Cambridge study plan? I know I've seen most of the material but it's been 2 months since I've looked at anything LSAT and more since I've seen most of the material I'll be starting with so I'm not really worried about repeating things. Should I start with a PT to see how far I've fallen? I can't even imagine doing that right now yikes.

Posting here because its far more active than the Oct group and I know a handful of you are retakers.

Trainer vs. Logic Games bible: Does anyone find the trainers explanation on diagraming a little extreme in some places? Should I be using the bible instead of trainer? I have both and want to ensure I am utilizing the best resources.

Taking another diagnostic after a break is a good idea. Just spend a few days drilling first to shake off the cobwebs. You'll likely be surprised at how much you retain. Many, if not most, people score the same as they had been or higher after a long break. LSAT skill isn't really something that atrophies from underuse. I'd be willing to bet that you haven't lost much ground.

I did PT 54 the other day LG was -3, which is a significant improvement for me. I am happy about that, but I am worndering if that was a particularly easy section for any one else.

Don't heed the Trainer for LG.
LGB + 7Sage is the way to go.

I have a serious LSAT question. So I recently got the LR Most Difficult Packet from Cambridge and def want to take advantage of it this time. I've only gone through the Level 4 questions on the smaller question types like Conclusion or Sufficient Assumptions so a lot of these will still be fresh. When should I start drilling this packet?

Don't think it really matters that much. The point is to learn from them. Doesn't matter what score you get on them or how they throw off your PT scores as long as you're making progress.

New poll suggestions. Go!

I didn't do all the level 1 Weaken questions, but the first 50 instead. Went 49/50, and the one I missed was stupid mistake. Moving on to some Strengthen questions.

ETA: Did the first 20 Strengthen questions and went 20/20.

The Trainer is excellent for RC and, to a lesser extent, LR. It is pretty terrible for games though.
I thought it's strength was LR, but I did it less recently as you so grain of salt.

Linear games are going much better than grouping. I'm going the easy ones in 4 minutes.

I dont get how this is possible lol. Even the easy games where I make the correct inferences and get them all right take me around 8min at best.

I had drilled these back in January so it's possible that I'm subconsciously remembering things, but I promise you'll get much faster over time.

I just took PT 39. Definitely cutting back on TLS a bit, though not sure if I count as a regular.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
