There is a list and most say baylor is really competitive. Princeton review does the list. but there's also a list for sutdents who study the most if you consider that gunning and cornell is pretty up there. So it's your definition of what gunning is.

I prefer "gunnery" to "gunning"

ETA: partly because it's a not so subtle allusion to battle

Yeah this is 100% true. Every school claims to be better, none actually are

There will be gunners and cool people at every school

I think it's relative. Pretend everyone at a school studies 4 hours a day and goes out the same amount then no one is a gunner but to someone who is outside that environment would say they are gunners. Like cornell everyone studies a lot but its been said no one is out to get anyone and everyones nice and has the same schedule. I think when chicago talks about themselves as gunners they say it jokingly bc everyone does it but they are self aware that this isnt normal so there's no animosity among the students.

Like for me a gunner is someone who's academic career pretty much fucks with his human decency. You don't even need the good grades just being an asshole bc you are competitive

Haha not really. Didn't see episode 2 last night tho, so I don't wanna rush to judgment.
Always wondering if JDs can pursue careers in criminal justice. Heard FBI used to recruit quite a few JDs in 80s and 90s lol.

yeah but his questions is the general population gunners. not if theres a school with no gunners. And I was trying to explain you might feel like theres a whole bunch of gunners bc of your personality while in a relative sense that might not be so
