The internet isn't that crazy of a place to me personally. I'm not endeared by bullying and I'm not impressed by it. Even if it's an attempt to be funny. Emphasis on attempt.
I am a dark, cynical, sarcastic person. I get snark. I get dark humor.
I don't really get being a straight up dick. For one thing, it's just not that funny.
Throughout my time on TLS I've been sporadically sassy but I've mostly tried to be positive and supportive. It's surprisingly fun to be that way.
What you don't understand is that there's a [usually] passive elitism that runs through a lot of your posting. You know it has to be
bad when someone on top hyphen law hyphen school dot com tells you you're being elitist, but it was noticed and some people decided to have a bit of fun with you over it. If it doesn't bother you, as you've professed on a number of occasions, then I suggest you just let it sail by in the future.
Also, re: the bolded, congrats?
First off, not looking for congrats on my personality. Just trying to put myself into context.
What have I said that has been more elitist than the average TLS poster?
As I recall, the thing that you initially took issue with is that I said people who speak latin gratuitously are dickholes. That drove yall nuts? That's elitist?
Oh also I said that I referred to people who are hoping for a 150 as "poor souls" today. Not even people aiming for 150s. People who actually want to get a flat 150. Is that considered elitist on TLS?
If I've come off as elitist did it ever occur to you to engage me on my blindspots sincerely rather than ruthlessly attacking me every time I say anything? I'm actually down to engage with criticism and self evaluate when it comes from a less monstrous place.
And do you think you're better than an elitist given the way you've behaved towards me? I may be an elitist but you've behaved like an unmitigated asshole
