I would focus 100% on LG for the next few weeks. There's not a whole lot to gain by practicing sections of LR and RC when you nearly ace them.

I'm just worried that since RC is supposed to get harder over time -1 on older RCs = -5 on newer RCs. I've heard many horror stories from people who got screwed over by their best section because they didn't study it enough.

You'll get a lot of LR and RC practice through PT's, but at this juncture, you need to tackle your weaknesses.RZ5646 wrote:I'm just worried that since RC is supposed to get harder over time -1 on older RCs = -5 on newer RCs. Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Sounds like you just need to print of sections of games and time yourself over and over and over and over. If you have the methods down, timing can be easily learned in two months. Print off every section of LG you can find and do it under timed constraints. It may sounds painful, but 25 games in a day timed may benefit you. This was just my method of learning originally. If you can fight through the first day, it gets easier and you can do fewer games as your timing gets better.RZ5646 wrote:I almost always go -0 but I take too long (I think... I haven't timed my drills lately). I know all the basic techniques from the LGB and 7sage, but I can't always apply them in a time-efficient manner or make subtle inferences.Rigo wrote:Please explicitly talk about your LG woes. Timing/game difficulty/etc.
What happens in a typical LG section for you?
The answer is probably just that I need to drill a lot more.

It doesn't help that this last month of school is going to be hellish with finals and late midterms.

You will have above a 4.0 no matter what. Just do 35 mins every night of LG or something. It's a small task but will add up a lot over time.RZ5646 wrote:It doesn't help that this last month of school is going to be hellish with finals and late midterms.

Nah, close to 50 in the USNWR ranking, but it gives A+'s so my LSAC GPA is over 4.0. I think at this point I could get a full year of A-'s and still have a 4.0 according to LSAC (though my school GPA would be shit).biggestlawman wrote:Where the hell is he studying? How could you possibly not know that?McJimJam wrote:UGs are ranked
Is it even worth applying for a summer job that doesn't ask your GPA or let you upload a resume? Like what's up with that? This application has more questions about what crimes I have or have not committed than my qualifications.

Sounds like a gov job. Any job is probably a plus for WE. But obviously legal or gov work may be seen favorably IMO.RZ5646 wrote:How could you possibly not know that?McJimJam wrote:UGs are ranked

Took a couple days off from LSAT stuff. Curious though, does anyone mark up LR stim? If so, what/how do y'all mark it? Trying to improve my accuracy on L4 questions still and any idea is welcome and will likely be tried.

I think I have okay job experience for a K-JD. I already have a legal internship lined up; I just want something on the side to make a little money. I'm basically spamming every place within driving distance of my house lol.Dr. Nefario wrote:Sounds like a gov job. Any job is probably a plus for WE. Makes sense FWIW none of the jobs I've had as an undergrad cared about GPA or resume. Curren job hired me the day I applied.RZ5646 wrote:I think I have okay job experience for a K-JD. I bracket conclusion and may underline premise if there's a lot of background useless stuff.TheWalkingDebt wrote:Took a couple days off from LSAT stuff. Curious though, does anyone mark up LR stim? If formal logic needed, it write off to the side.

Also, I'm already in the beginning stages of planning an adventure for NEXT summer&fall. That coupled with my commitments for this summer and fall mean that I will HAVE to take next February since it's the only opportunity to take in the next couple years. I think.
Having such an exciting life is realllllly such a burden.

Sometimes I'll draw conditionals next to the stim if it's that kind of question.TheWalkingDebt wrote:Took a couple days off from LSAT stuff. Curious though, does anyone mark up LR stim? This happened to me when I did prep the first time in 2010. Even on my diagnostic from one of the earliest exams, I was able to get -0 in Reading Comprehension with time to spare. The newer iterations are definitely trickier in my experience.RZ5646 wrote:I'm just worried that since RC is supposed to get harder over time -1 on older RCs = -5 on newer RCs. Now that I'm doing this again, I think the difficulty spike is not so extreme but you'll want some time to get familiar with the modern-era language.
