That makes sense. Yea if you aren't hitting your target timed id say decemeber may be best. Now if someone is hitting their target like half the time timed Id probably lean towards takin (as long as you had another take) but timing isn't something you just all of a sudden get lucky w on test day IMHOmsp8 wrote:I had been. But I'm far behind where I should be in my studying, and so I'm leaning toward Dec. I can dedicate a lot of time to studying for the next few weeks, and I score well (untimed), but I'm still way too slow. I'm giving myself another ~10 days to improve speed and, if it doesn't get to an acceptable level (and then prove that I can maintain that speed consistently thereafter), then I'll take Dec instead.Colonel_funkadunk wrote:

Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
WOW now that felt like a long damn time away from this thread. I swear it's only been a day or a day and a half, but i have definitely missed you guys. It was a little time-consuming, but definitely worth the 20ish minutes it took me to read 10 pages of posts at 4am in the morning.
I have written two tests in the meantime, but to add to the loungization of this thread, i come with a story - a story of my dream last night:
So there i was, sitting in my living room with a couple of my friends. The TV was on. We were all getting ready to watch basketball, when i looked down and noticed i had an LSAT on my lap. Looked at the title, wondering which preptest i was about to practice. It was preptest 73. Suddenly, I looked up again and saw a giant clock, with a 5 second countdown. When the 5 second mark passed, i noticed the phone beside my lap counting down from 35:00 minutes, as I usually set it to do during my practice. First page: logic games. I'm excited, I'm amped, I'm ready to kill this test. Logic games? Pft, I'm going to get this test going with a perfect section and set myself up for a 160 at worst. But then, the unimaginable happens, the worst case scenario: fractions. Now I wouldn't say I am terrible at math, but I would say that I'm terrible enough to see fractions on a test and consider myself a goner. The stimulus was filled with numbers, decimals, fractions, remainders, square roots. It was LSAT: GMAT edition (I haven't actually written the GMAT so idk if there are fractions and such, but i'm trying to make this more interesting). I begin sweating. I look up again...time is up. I look down and my test is gone. I just handed in a blank test, i have just failed the LSAT. I'm noticeably upset, so my friends (who were watching their TV loudly as i was on the brink of death) decided to comfort me by telling me they have tickets to a concert. We go outside my house, and apparently the air canada centre (where the toronto raptors play) is in my backyard. Security is surrounding the entire vicinity, and I come to realize this is an issue when my friends point out that I'm the only one they didn't get a ticket for. We maneuver around security, go from door to door, and take an innumerable amount of turns. Somehow I find myself in front of a door. It's quiet. I turn around and I notice my friends are gone. I decide that I will tackle this dream-challenge of mine and go through the door. I find myself, not only at the concert my friends and i spent too long trying to sneak into, but on stage...with Beyonce. There I was, in my all my sweaty and disappointed glory with the Queen herself.
I woke up and thought to myself: "Never believe Maximum Beyonce is unattainable. 180."
Also, I laughed...because like, really? Has TLS really encompassed that much of my life that I'm dreaming about failing the LSAT while at the same time referencing our thread jargon? LOL
Glad to be back. Hope you enjoyed my [true] dream
EDIT: sorry if i have any grammatical mistakes. While I tried to make it as much of a narrative as possible, it is 4am and I've been studying/awake for a while

this definitely made reading through all the pages i missed worth it. Not only are you a 180 on the LSAT, but with this post you're definitely a 180 personality. I've had a handful of ridic LSAT dreams. Normally me not being able to get past question 10. The other night I dreamt that I was trying to find a group of 4 for the team LSAT.
I've did the whole 4am read 10 thread pages b4
