If you think that your test score will give you a chance at the schools you want to send apps out to, and the money isn't a problem, I think you should send them out for sure.AbbeyS wrote:Ok, I need some advice…
I've already been admitted to several schools and am waiting on a couple more…but I am tempted to send a couple apps in to even higher-ranked schools.
The issue is that most apps close before we'll get our test back, so I'm relying on just hope that I performed as well as my PTs…is it worth it this late in the cycle to send in apps at the risk of my score not being what I expected? I guess in the worst case scenario, I'll be out $50-75 for app fees and get rejected. Right? idk. Tell me your thoughts, guys.

Well see that's the thing...I can't really gauge how I performed. I can't decide cause everything feels blurry soooo I don't know if I stand a chance right now. It'd be a total shot in the darkRonnyDiniro wrote:If you think that your test score will give you a chance at the schools you want to send apps out to, and the money isn't a problem, I think you should send them out for sure.AbbeyS wrote:Ok, I need some advice…

You'd be surprised, I received a waiver from a school I would never get into based on my first score. Again, no harm in asking for a fee waiver, worst they can say is no.AbbeyS wrote:Yeah either way give yourself a few days to a week to let your brain reset. Just email them your GPA and LSAT and LSAC # and ask to kindly be considered for a fee waiver.AbbeyS wrote:True that. I'm just gonna try that for now. What's the proper etiquette?

I said something along the lines of:AbbeyS wrote:True that. I'm just gonna try that for now. What's the proper etiquette?
"Hello, I am very interested in applying to school X, and just took the February administration of the LSAT. I am wondering if it is still possible to receive a fee waiver at this point in the admissions cycle. Thank you very much for your time and attention in advance.
Clear mind, full heart,
Prospective law student"
Obviously joking with the salutation. That's more or less the body text I used though.

I had this game.. It was very interesting, hadn't really seen anything like it. There was one particular rule that was crucial to at least half the questions but I couldn't figure out exactly how to diagram it cause it was like ten rules in one and I could not figure out any inferences to put it in my main diagram. Nonetheless I managed to get through the problems.LitigatingLiar wrote:The one about arranging the floors? It was a weird. It got me. That was one of the most bizarre games I've ever seen - with the numbers and all. The only game I've seen that was similar to that was one of the games from the earlier PTs that did something similar, but with letter grades.

Trains closing and opening was experimental. I know exactly the rule you're talking about in the game about numbers, though. I actually crushed that set of games and was disappointed to see another set of LG. But somehow, the next set was even easier.Morcartwright wrote:I had this game.. Reading about the experimental LG made me think "I wish I could try that one, it sounds fun." Then I realized what a sick individual this test has turned me into. It's time to burn the study books and find a new hobby.

I'm trying to get some busy work done, but I feel so unwilling. Am I feeling a little post-LSAT fatigue? I studied daily for about 4 weeks, pretty intensely, and then took Friday off.

Did any of you guys get a survey question asking how comfortable/often you use Tablets and SmartPhones?
Also, "if you do touch screen computing", and "are you comfortable selecting touch screen options?"
Every other LSAT, I get asked which resources I used to prepare, so this one was a real departure. My proctor also mentioned that he was asked by the LSAC if he was comfortable proctoring a touch screen test. Weird.
(I took the Saturday Observer test, and the proctor was really chilled out. I asked him about the weird survey thing once I completed the test)
I'm assuming this survey thing isn't an issue with disclosure, as it was just extraneous weird stuff outside of the test itself.

I took the regular test on Saturday

+1 Wondering if there are other activities we could do to feel a similar rise in intelligence. Don't feel like sudoku is the answer....

Im actually so good at sudoku after doing logic games. That game used to frustrate the hell out of me a couple years ago.perfunctory wrote:zeglo wrote:I've definitely become smarter as a result of studying for this test. Guess I will add what I can to the discussion here.Just finished up. Felt very fair to me. Some interesting inferences necessary on the games and a handful of tough LR sprinkled around (I had 3 LR sections tho). Nothing too crazy IMO, curious what others think.
Good luck to everyone.
The RC section with hedges was real. It was the only RC I had.
My LR were 25-25-26. Based on what other people have said, one of those 25 must have been the experimental. The second one felt weird to me, but I cannot for the life of my remember a single question.
I thought the LG was interesting. Easy game types, but some unique/tricky rules.
I bombed the first one too. Was hoping that was the experimental

God, I keep on recalculating what I could have gotten, what I likely got, what I optimally got, and what I need.
This is awful.
23 for me

I had LR, RC, LR, LG, LR.
Anyone have that order and figure out which section was experimental?
Ugh I can't! Please let me know if u do! The first LR was the hardest for me.
