That said, I haven't touched an RC passage yet, but will after reading the Trainer.
Is anyone looking forward to December 7th?? I am so excited, but this time without the nerves. I actually think I will get to sleep the night before this time around.

This is making me feel better. Hopefully the weeks off will have been a much needed break

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Checking in...for the final and third take this year. Hope to be more active and accountable on forums, but dunno. The camaraderie I saw from the Octobers takers seemed awesome.
Still a bit on the fence as to whether take it in December or just not take it. I guess it all depends on how I feel. Thought about canceling my Oct score because I ran out of time on every section except LG, but a little bit relieved that I didn't. Nerves got me worse for the second take than my first one in June. Scored a point higher than my June take and so I'm doing apps with a 166 at the moment, but would seriously give an organ or a limb for a 170+.
Need to heavily improve RC, which seems so hard.

I'm taking my diagnostic tonight... After a month of no LSAT. This may determine my registration for December.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Hey guys. I'm on the fence, but leaning towards probably retaking in December.
I scored a 161 in October after 3 months of not great prep, mainly PS bibles. In hindsight, I could have drilled way more. God damn logic games. I just could not improve for the life of me. (Seriously... my cold diagnostic was 162 and I ended up with a 161. What??) Just ordered Blueprint, so we'll see how that goes. I usually go -2 or -3 for LR and RC.
When scores came out the other day (which, by the way, was much more stressful than the actual test), I panicked and hated myself for 2 days. I was so horrified at my score that I started leaning towards sitting out this cycle and retaking next June. Now I'm thinking if I get my shit together, December might work.
SO, I think I'll register for December, drill LG like a mofo between now and the date change deadline, and decide mid-month if I'm really going to be improving by the 7th.

Seems like you've got the right idea. Work like crazy and hopefully you'll be confident enough to take December! Good luckbecs wrote:Hey guys. I'm on the fence, but leaning towards probably retaking in December.

Think I'll do a RC and LR section tonight. No PTing until The Trainer. Considering PT60 Saturday or Monday with shortened time limits.

+1. I originally took the test in June '12 w/ minimal prep and managed to score a 160>*>150.dosto5 wrote:I wouldn't put too much weight on a diagnostic. And then when I took the Powerscore class in person April '13, my diagnostic test was 18pts lower than what I scored. So pay no mind. It is nothing but rust/cobwebs that can be shaken off.

Is it ridiculous to think I could get 6 more points in this short amount of time? I scored at least that under my PT average, so I'm hoping it's not crazy...dosto5 wrote:I wouldn't put too much weight on a diagnostic. I'm hoping it was just nerves/having three LR in a row (well, sections 2,3, and 4) which I just didn't even know what to do with...

Got an email from amazon saying my Trainer delivery was delayed until Thurs b/c of unforeseen demand (thx guise). Guess I'm taking a PT tonight.

At this point, I'm not even thinking scores. I just want to perfect my skills so I have a ceiling of 180 and a basement over 172.bee wrote:QUICK POLL: what score are you guys (realistically) hoping for in dec, now that you know what to expect from the lsat?
