Unfortunately I think the only impending impact is the rock bottom disappointment of having to wait until Monday.

15,000 people went into universities across the NE to take the LSAT. There were 20 snow storms lurking on the horizon, and it took only 1 to cancel the exam for the whole Mid-Atlantic. One. 6,000 were granted a retake just 2 weeks later, myself included. 6 out of 15,000. Afterward, all 15,000 people had nothing to do but wait... wait to die, wait to live, wait for a score, which would never come.

I hope the folk at LSAC help make my birthday great by releasing my score today. Even though I don't have much riding on this test, I did drop 200 bucks on that damn test.

Fingers crossed.

I found the wording of their answering machine message interesting. "... to check the status of your file, please check the lsac website..." Maybe I'm reading into it, but that makes me think they are releasing today.

I set the lsac's email address.. lsac_alert@lsac.com ..in my blackberry to a superloud ringtone of doom... that way i will stop jumping out of my skin everytime my regular ring tone goes off. Does anyone know if it comes from this email address like the rest of my emails from them?

I hate to be the one to deflate the optimistic bubble, but the automaed service always says to "check website." Hopefully they will come. The last time LSAC (dec test) sent out scores during non business hours was the Dec test and they did so at like 5 someting in the a.m.

true, but the message was changed for today's date, not just a standard message. I'm sure it's scripted, but I'm going to stay in my bubble. :)

Then again, the reason mine may have come at such an early hour is because they must have released the scores in order from lowest to highest...hence mine came at 5 in the morning...so therefore the feb test was a retake

lol Well at least in terms of closing when it snows.... LSAC needs to tough up and open because Cornell has 12+ inches with messy roads, and all it gave was a 1 hour delay.

Well we do have the opportunity to test a theory. If the LSAC releases the scores on Friday evening because they want their staff to be home and not field phone calls then it stands to reason we could get the scores early today. I know we probably don't have enough information or understanding of how scores are released but it's a possibility if all someone has to do is "flip a switch".

September came late in the afternoon. It WAS a regular business day, but there is no regularity here with times. I need a bloody Mary or screwdriver, or maybe both!

Is that true? That sounds like what some professors do in their classes.... and everyone stares at him as they hand out exams. -__-

well I don't have any evidence to the contrary based on my score in Dec, but I believe it is safe to say that there is no correlation in the release time and score.
