So has no one from LSAC ever retired and talked about this process? Obviously they give a release date that is longer out than they need, hence early releases. So what's the criteria for when they do actually release? In my head I'm imagining two guys leaning against a water cooler slowly sipping:
"So. You finish up your scores?"
"*Slow sip* ahhh. Yep. Yep..."
"*Slow sip; stares off into space*"
"You?"
"Yesterday actually."
"Mmm. *Sips; readjusts lean*"
"Time to release then?"
"Eh. I had kind of a big lunch... I don't know how much i feel like doing this afternoon."
"I hear you there. *Sips*"
"Maybe later."
"Yeah. Maybe later. *Stares into space*"

I haven't been paying much attention to this thread since I know I won't be reaching my potential score unless 6 RC questions in a row were answer choice D, so sorry if this has been asked and answered:
Am I correct in saying that "go grey" happens an hour or two before the email from LSAC?

I wonder what's worse. This waiting, or the waiting between when it goes gray and when you get the score. Hopefully it'll happen on my commute and I'll never find out.

It's not so bad waiting between grey and scores because a) everyone will be freaking out on here which is good fun and b) at that point it's only a matter of minutes/hours rather than daysdodint wrote:I wonder what's worse. you get to wait all over again when you apply to schools and TLS gives you ideas on what you hear back and you don't hear anything and know you're done fordodint wrote:I wonder what's worse. I only just learned who this Killoran lad is but he just tweeted gray usually happens between 4:30 and 6:30. No reason to have doubts just yet

I know you said it might change now, but historically how long ago did you get the licensing email when scores were released, was that a relatively new phenomenon, or was it a somewhat reliable indicator?DKilloranPowerScore wrote:Sorry about that! Yeah, I think it's only the uncertainty that drives people nuts. Waiting is tough but if you have an endpoint to look forward to, it's manageable.forum_user wrote:It's not so bad waiting between grey and scores because a) everyone will be freaking out on here which is good fun and b) at that point it's only a matter of minutes/hours rather than daysdodint wrote:I wonder what's worse. Of course were it not for the interwebs, people would be waiting patiently for June 30 and would just be pleasantly surprised if they got their score early. But alas that is not reality
TBH I think it'd be better for collective sanity if they actually stuck to their release date, even if they are ready a few days early
