Finished PT32 after only drilling LG and LR in the past three days

LR: -0
LG: -0
RC: -4
LR2: -2
-6 -> 176

I know that I'll sound like a major douche for saying this, but these past few PTs (4 175+s in a row) make me worry that this sort of lucky streak will prevent me from finding any hidden issues that might only surface a couple of weeks before game day when there aren't enough time to fix them, so I've decided not reading much into these scores at all and just review EVERYTHING...

Working on the same LG set from yesterday. Going to try to go -0 and try to understand one of the questions from the last game that confused me yesterday.

I like PTing with no noise, but since I'm in nyc there's always noise outside but I'm immune to it lmao.

This feels like cheating, but I'm going to have to PT this afternoon instead. My brain is completely not on it now.

I'm not sure what's going on tbh. May have done too long of a warm-up, with material that was too familiar. With the amount I've drilled, I really should be solid at this point, at least on LR and LG, and fairly solid on RC. The issue is applying that to PTs. I was thinking maybe doing a PT every other day next week or something, but apparently I can't even PT at 11am on a saturday, sooo...

Been bad about studying recently, because work is getting way too intense. Gonna pick it up in two weeks, and I'm hoping some time off won't hurt my score.

I think some time of does more good than bad. I always feel more focused after taking even just a day off.

I hope your job is going well. Are you going to be working for the rest of your senior year?

Bleh. Green tea and netflix for me. I'm worried I might be getting burnt out but at the same time I don't really think I can justify taking a break considering how close we are and that I've made target only twice. Welp, glad I'll have time to retake this thing at least.

eta: I think I might take a break for a few days?? Or at least until I manage to get over 6 hours of sleep at night and get my health back to normal-ish. Idk idk.

Just wrote PT 66...161, I dunno what I have to start doing to break out of this 161-163 bubble I've been sitting in. Also I've been feeling awful about the last few sets of games, but I've ended up doing not that badly, I don't know if I'm not used to the 2 page format per game or what. Also I thought that I had KILLED RC on this test and I ended up going -13 WTF. Breakdown ended up being

RC: -13
LR1: -2
LG: -3
LR2: -7 (after the games section I struggled for a little bit to get my head back in the game.

My sections seem to be jumping all over the place. My RC score on my last test was like -2 and then this happened. God this is frustrating. Usually I'd take a Sunday off, but I start work FT on Tuesday, so the plan is to B.R. most of this this afternoon. If I don't I'll write finish it off tomorrow, but otherwise the plan is to take PT 67 Monday.

Take it while you still can! Come September you'll find it even harder to justify a break and burn out is gonna do a lot more damage then.

Just took PT 64 - not too displeased with my results other than a slight hiccup.

LR1: -3
LG: -6
LR2: -5
RC: -4

Score: 166

So, my hiccup game in the LG section. I misread a rule and flipped it for the first game. I wound up having to do the first game twice. Then, due to having to hurry I misread a rule on Game 3 and had to redo it. Ran out of time with 3 questions left and missed a few more due to hurrying.

I'll figure out what went wrong on the other sections when I BR.

Thanks - that's solid logic! I think I'm gonna go with that. :) Also thinking that starting the fall semester, which should be one of my most difficult thus far, already completely exhausted might not be the best situation either.

I am often astonished by how watertight my logic is whenever I want to justify being lazy.

Yeah, I work for housing, so free housing for the year. On the bright side, after the first 2 weeks, the job gets super chill, so I'll have a solid 5 weeks of steady LSAT prep.

that's good. i know it's always advised to get a job that you don't do much in so you can lsat prep on and off during it

I LOVE green tea. If your feeling under the weather try this:

Boil hot water, chop and peel some ginger, add lemon (I usually use a quarter) and squeeze it into your cup, add a teaspoon of honey. Just keep drinking this, within 2-3 days you should be fine. It always works for me!

Also, if you can get in 7-8hrs of sleep in per night as opposed to 6, it makes a huge difference. I have already noticed a difference in my prep, being alert, and fatigue just by doing this!

It's just so frustrating in drilling when you first miss a critical inference in one set-up and decide to nail all the inferences in the next set-up, only to run over the time limit.......

WHY OH WHY CAN'T I JUST *beep* GET IT RIGHT
Yes, seriously! I hate it. Which is why I need to chill out some more while reading the rules.

So, I got off to a late start today because I wanted to justify staying up late and finishing the games I was drilling last night.

I read the comments from the LG I was having trouble on (because of my timing and JY's complicated set up), so some of the posters said they wrote out four scenarios for this game, it's the one where there are three dances and a girl is paired up with a boy and there are literally 2 rules.

Anyhow, I tried it out today doing all four scenarios/mastering the possibilities/whatever you want to call it. I got -0 in 5 minutes. BOOM!

So my plan for today is go through the videos for the four remaining games, drill them, do the next chapter that is related to the LG lesson, drill that, and hit up LR if there is time!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
