Why did people guess the dates they guessed for the potential LSAT release date?

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS (Score Release Poll is up!!)
Does LSAC process the tests themselves or do they have some kind of vendor?
They're closed from Christmas Eve through New Years Day. I don't really understand the mechanics of delivering scores the first day they're back in the office. And if they can deliver the first day back after break, why not the day before they leave?
I hate everything about these people. Apparently they have tens of millions of dollars invested in hedgefunds but they can't be bothered to spend the money necessary to speed up the processing of time sensitive score reports.
Fuck those guys.

My neuroticism has caused me to look into this. I compared this year's actual test date and score release-by date to those in the past years for Dec tests. Yes, LSAC hasn't been releasing scores really early in the past few years, but that could be because it depends on the day of the week that New Years falls on that year. This year it falls on a Thursday so they really only have one work day after the holidays to release the score before the Monday deadline. This hasn't been the case in recent years. The last time that New Years fell on Thursday was in 2009 and that year the scores were released before New Years on Dec 28.

Y'all need to quit complaining. The first time I took the LSAT was the only administration in the history of ever where they missed the release date. We got the scores a day after the set date. I know you really want your score now, but as someone who's been through this twice, it's not that exciting. There's a slim chance you did significantly better or worse than your PT average.

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS (Score Release Poll is up!!)
I guess the "exciting" part is that lives can be significantly effected by even just one or two points above or below your pt average (which is why the answer is always retake).
More frustrating is the fact that I don't have any power to do anything. Usually when I want a stranger to do something for work, I keep calling them, I ask nicely, I threaten to take my business elsewhere, I try and build a relationship, etc.
Here I just get to sit with my thumb up my ass on the internet.
Also, lsac is just a shit non profit. They view 0Ls as a piece of the pie they're entitled to. They make mistakes in processing transcripts and in administering tests and there is no accountability. Even though they are extremely profitable they're amazingly stingy with fee waivers. I just have a lot of hate for them.

Non profits are the most unethical, corrupt organizations, even worse than the mob. At least gangsters tell you they're fucking you over. LSAC screws us with a smile and doesn't pay taxes. #reform non-profitsSkool wrote:I guess the "exciting" part is that lives can be significantly effected by even just one or two points above or below your pt average (which is why the answer is always retake).
