Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
Followed up my 169 with a 164 on PT 57. Test felt pretty difficult, honestly. Or maybe 56 was just easy.
LG: -6
LR: -4
LR: -5
RC: -4
Those Logic Reasoning scores really scare me- but I woke up at 645 after going to bed at 1 last night (and after playing tennis for two hours this morning) and I was damn near falling asleep during those two sections. I can't really say they caused my poor performance, but I can at least pretend internally, right?
Also, dinosaurs. I haven't reviewed yet- but that was some garbage.

I'm in a similar position. At work at things are so slow at the moment.sfoglia wrote:I'm working from home today, so I could be studying for the LSAT, but instead I'm waiting for my company's horrendous software to load remotely so that I can complete my work for the day, first.
This is so awful. I keep staring at my Cambridge packets wistfully.
I just printed out all the logic games 1-39 to do over the next week and they're sitting next to me, but I'm up at the front desk covering for the admin assitant and cant touch them.
Why did I not do this three months ago?? fml..
I honestly have no idea what my study method has been other than really ineffective

Ughhhhh, the worst. Can you practice LR on the computer? I sometimes do this. Sneak!alloverthat wrote:I'm in a similar position. I just went to my testing site b/c I have notoriously a bad sense of direction and lurked around. Thankfully, I will be testing at a long table in a well-lit (though unflatteringly fluorescent) room and not some creaky HS desk with the fold-down writing surface. The nerves are setting in! Gonna hit up the Cambridge Flaw 3s and 4s now.

This may be kind of basic for you, but I found the LSAT Arcade app from Manhattan LSAT to be kind of helpful in solidifying the fundamentals. They have an online site also, but I find the app super useful when I'm somewhere without my LSAT materials.alloverthat wrote:Good callsfoglia wrote:Ughhhhh, the worst. This need not be a solely private venture.smccgrey wrote:I'll just leave it up forever for full tuition. Or for full tuition I will just email the video to asha + the Yale drawing in lieu of any application forms. Plus my lsat score drawn on a piece of paper in crayon.GreenTee wrote:I'll bite.smccgrey wrote:So no takers on my Iggy rap? I swear I'm actually skilled. I'll dress up too. Will do this for 1 yr of GULC tuition.
If you dress up and do the Iggy rap, I'll pay your 1L tuition.
Edit - but you have to keep the video up in this thread for at least 24 hours
I'll negotiate hours for $$
"Great works of art have often elicited outrage when first presented...Since it is clear that art is often shocking, we should not hesitate to use public funds for supporting works of art that many people find shocking." PT 33.1.10
This is the word of the LSAT.
Thanks be to LSAT.

If someone offers me 1L tuition there isn't a lot of things I wouldnt do within the realms of legality. Someone pay up and I have no dignity.

Checking in with a 166 from June. I was practice testing higher, but I managed to separate my shoulder and tear all of my ligaments in my dominant arm playing slow-pitch softball four days prior to the exam. Imagine taking the LSAT while being in severe pain every time you tried to fill in a bubble or diagram a question!
Just took prep test 66:
-0 LG
-0 LR
-0 LR
-8 RC
Yes, you read that right. Every practice test is similar to 66 - I'll go -0 on LG, -0, -1 or -2 total on LR, and then completely shit my pants on RC. I've tried the LSAT Trainer, PowerScore RC Bible, and read every article/blog that I can get my hands on. I miss all types of questions and honestly think that it's just a lack of focus on my part. So frustrating!
