Here's a question. Anyone know the minimum payment for a law school loan?

I don't have UG loans so I'm not sure if school loans have a standard payment or if it varies

I believe it varies on how much debt you have

One of the attorneys in my office mentioned that salary also affects the minimum payment. It might have to be extremely low though (maybe $60k)

Yeah - those are all fair points, and I agree with them. It takes fairly unusual circumstances for it to possibly make sense.

There is a myriad of payment plans, so it's impossible to say.

If you do pay as you earn, if you make shit money you pay less. It's structured so that you pay more later on in your career (to go along with raises, etc) but you end up paying a ton more interest. Standard payment plans is total loan over 10 or 25 years.

I'll be flying cross country on the red eye this evening, to take the digital lsat in Berkeley, California, at my alma mater, University of California, Berkeley.

it varies by debt, but just for an idea I'm looking at around 1700 required per month on a 10 year plan.

Would you accept a full ride to a school other than a T14 if it was full ride? I guess it would depend on the T14 schools you did get accepted to ... ? Sometimes I think I'd be crazy not to accept a full ride to like UCLA or something, even if I got into a T14 for full price?!

It really depends on the location for me. I'd gladly accept a full ride from my UG law school (UMD CP) but if they offer me a full ride and NYU/Columbia accepts me with no money I'll be a New Yorker. Any other school in between would be a tougher decision because I'm super debt adverse

You can't be super debt averse and be willing to pay sticker to the MOST expensive law school. but anywho, the UCLA example is probably a bad one. Anyone that gets a fully from them will have solid scholarship offers in the t13

Wow this took off so this is super behind. How much did the 2.9/177 get to CLS? That seems...kinda nuts seeing that CLS must know they were going to be the best school that student would get into and they wouldn't see a ton of money elsewhere. Maybe they had something else going on.

Choosing question order in LG is extremely useful advice though. I highly recommend everyone train their brain to skip MBT/CBT/MBF/CBF until the very end as mikey said. This alone will save you a minute(s) on each game.

What do those acronyms stand for? Exactly what should I skip? Sorry, newbie here.

must be trust, could be true, must be false, and could be false.

basically, all of the questions that have answer choices that make you try each one. if you do them last, and do all the IF questions first, you can eliminate answers for the MBT/CBT/MBF/CBF ones just by looking at your already made game boards for the other questions, thus you wouldn't have to try out every single answer choice for these questions.
