My biggest weakness seems to be timing in the RC section, as I usually go -8/-10, and NEVER get to the questions for the last passage. I spend an average of 4 minutes reading a passage (too long) and roughly twice as long answering the questions for each passage (waaaay too long). Of the questions I do have adequate time to answer, I miss 1 for the section on average. I think I just need to speed the hell up.

What are some specific tactics that y'all use to keep things moving during RC?

I don't think 4 minutes too long for the passage if you're getting a solid understanding of the structure.

MCAT and GRE here. LSAT way harder than GRE and harder/different than the MCAT.

Everything... -7 on games (-4 on the final one), -6/-2 on LR and -3 on RC.

167 and 166 on my last two PTs after having a stretch of 5/6 in the 170's. I've just had a lot of trouble absorbing what I'm reading the last couple of days. I think it's time for a day off.

Should I be concerned about these fluctuations? On my lowest PTs I have felt lethargic and timing/anxiety was an issue. How do you guys cope with getting up for a PT after scoring well. I can feel myself become complacent after scoring high, as seen with the scores following the 174s and 173.

Does anyone have a routine (diet, coffee, water, sugar intake) that they follow during long drilling sessions and PTs?

Any help would be much appreciated.

that's a good point. The outlier is probably the 174. 171 is a good score. I heard that on test day, though, some people shouldn't be surprised getting a few points below their PT average because of various reasons--jitters, proctor, unfamiliar lsat probs, etc,etc

Median = 171
Mode (Tri-Modal) = 168, 171, 174

For comparative measure, my own previous 8 tests

Sample = 171, 174, 171, 169, 170, 173, 167, 166

Mean = 170.13
Standard Deviation = 2.75
Median = 170.5
Mode = 171
