Hey Everyone. I'm back again after a hiatus. Took it real sweet and easy for the last two months, with few hours of studying every now and then.

I am aiming for June. I work full-time, and June exam's time is more conducive for studying evening/late nights. I have a 163 (June, 2013) and a 160 (September, 2013), which means my score that counts so far is 163, and I need 173+.

I am going to put my heart and soul into this, I have been saying this for a while, but, I think I am ready to do it finally. 4 hours of studying every weekday and 8+ hours every weekend day.

I am going to start with the trainer, and games drilling. I am also planning on reading a non-fiction book for an hour every night. Once I am done with the Trainer, I will go through the Manhattan LSAT books for LR and LG. All this with Sections and Full PTs thrown in at increased frequency as time goes by.

I am hoping to see significant improvement by the end of March.

And I figure I would probably end up retaking after February anyway. I can't drop everything to study in this last month like I was hoping to. Besides I don't have much to lose by postponing

Yeah, this is the biggest reason why I'm tempted to postpone too. It's a tough decision to make. If you do end up taking June instead, you still gotta hang out in the Febbers thread w/ us!

Do you guys do the "find out why the right answer is right and why every wrong answer is wrong" thing for LG too? If so, on all the questions or just the ones you missed/struggled on?

I do not because I think it is a waste of time. LG is like math. It asks you a question, you use your equation, (in this case your setup) you get the right answer, and you circle the answer. Thats the reason why you make a setup and make inferences in the beginning. I guess it can be helpful to do this when you are drilling and its a question that you have to answer with trial and error so you become faster at doing this. But honestly, even when I get to questions that require trial and error on PTs, once I find an answer that works I circle it. Even if it is answer choice A. If I have time at the end I can always go back.

That's basically how I feel. There are questions in LR and RC where you narrow it down to two and really can't decide, but that doesn't happen in LG.

Drilled a bunch of games today and I did okay... not great, but not awful either. Just gotta keep working I guess.

Hey guys, I'm glad I'm not the only one starting now. I think this June is finally the one for me--I was going to take in Sept and ED, then decided it would be better to wait until December and apply to more places RD but I ended up not having a lot of time to devote to studying and scratched that. I'm now at peace with waiting a cycle and am looking to crush the June test. Basically, I will not apply to law school with less than a 170.

I'm really happy with where I am right now, but I'm concerned that in three months I'll be out of material. At the same time, I don't want to stop practicing and wait. What are you guys doing to avoid peaking too early or running out of materials before test time?

There's so much material that running out seems unlikely unless you have nothing to do but study for the LSAT 8 hours per day.

I just graduated and have an absurd amount of free time right now, haha. I thought I would enjoy it, but I can't even sleep at night without spending hours on something challenging. The LSAT is sort of saving me from myself.
