Is there a maximum on the number of pencils we can bring in?
I have a total of about 80 pencils (meant for and used during my few months of studying), so just wondering...

LSAC should have a cooler they bring to each classroom that test takers can put beers into upon entrance and as soon as the tests are collected those who deposited beer into the cooler can immediately open and enjoy the sweet sweet taste of freedom.
Because for me I am taking this test with a buddy of mine and as soon as we are done we are heading directly to a friends house for a pre-party of a music festival in Downtown San Diego that will have 5-6 party bussess of people we know attending (I cannot describe to you how incredible it was to find out that the timing of this event). And that walk towards having a social life again would be so much better with a beer.

Based on my bag o' pencils from last time, my guess is no, as long as they fit into the bag and it can be sealed.KingofSplitters55 wrote:I have a total of about 80 pencils (meant for and used during my few months of studying), so just wondering...

Re: Your One Gallon Zip Lock Bag.
User sharpened bought a great electric pencil sharpener on amazon that I would commend to you if interested. I also purchased Ticond. pre-sharpened but I agree with the above posters that the pencil goes dull rather quickly leaving one in a precarious situation during LG. I recommend switching pencils every LG, I know that sounds crazy but its very natural when you do it enough when you turn the page simply place your pencil down and pick up the next one in the same motion - its honestly the easiest thing ever and it will prevent your rule notation from getting sloppy as well as subconsciously allow you to move on from the previous game (i.e. fresh start). I also like to change pencils between sections so that just as the tip is sharp I can put arrows up and circle crisp lines up (for strengthen, necc. assump, suff assump etc), down (must be true, most strongly support etc.), circle key words (role, evaluate, disagree, agree, etc) and have that sense of immediacy conveyed with the crispness of the lines.Sinatra wrote:Question: Pre-sharpened or user-sharpened?tigersaresexy wrote:Dead serious. If you think ah man whatever I could do the test with a freakin crap pencil with no eraser and never sharpen it - well fantastic good for you, I can't. But if you want to do your best in my opinion one should prepare for perfection. It would be like Tiger Woods grabbing a crap golf club and stumbling up to the hole and randomly swinging at the ball. Would any professional ever do that? Treat the LSAT like a professional take everything to the n'th degree - take care of all the little details along the way and let your brain take over and do the rest. For me it provides me it's a mental boost which could easily be 1 or 2 questions right instead of wrong that's directly attributable to planning, preparation, and the subconscious reinforcement of my ability to perform at my optimal level of cognition.

I have an almost 20 year old bottle of scotch whiskey that I've saved for nearly a year. The second I finish my LSAT is the second I crack that bottle open.
