Same. I know no 0Ls besides myself, and someone that I sold a book to on Craigslist lol.CyanIdes Of March wrote:How do you even know that many 0Ls?Dr.Zer0 wrote:I know 3 who scored 170+, 3 who scored 169-167 range. And about a dozen who scored 160-165
And I only know like 3-4 law school students who are 1Ls or 2Ls, but at TTT.
And I certainly don't know anyones scores, except it probably was not 17X.

Take an LSAT course and you will instantly know people who have not only achieved 170+ once but many times: your instructors. Visit HYS CCN MVPBDN and you will meet a bunch more.paglababa wrote:lol topic says it all. I don't know anyone who attends a t14 law school.
I read TLS all the time for motivation and study tips and it seems like everyone is getting 170s and going to dream schools. Don't get my wrong - those are my very aspirations as well. I just realized though, i don't know ANYONE with a 170+ in real life, and I live in a major NE city. This thread isn't really a question since the numbers are clear of how many people score in the 99th percentile each year ect.
But does anyone else feel like an asshole when they speak to their current law school friends (who are not at a t14) and say things like "yea i'm going for 170 or bust..."
And yes, I met a white guy in Seattle who got into Duke Law on a retake with an approximate 3.0 GPA. It's a pretty safe bet that his LSAT was above 170. Duke had wait listed him; after the summer scores came out he received an offer of admission.
I could name a few other students, but I have been meeting law students and applicants for years. Statistically speaking, no one outside of major metro areas has a high likelihood of meeting more than a few 170+ test-takers, and that would include LSAT instructors.
I know many people who are close.

So was I... I guess I just didn't socialize much with my fellow Poli. Sci. majors. I suppose nearly all of the 0Ls I do know, and all of the Poli Sci. majors I met, have become 0Ls and 1Ls.Dr.Zer0 wrote:CyanIdes Of March wrote:How do you even know that many 0Ls?Dr.Zer0 wrote:I know 3 who scored 170+, 3 who scored 169-167 range. I was a PoliSci major at a large UG

I actually just talked to someone from my class yesterday who scored 172. He did the normal prep for 170+ but it was funny cause he was bashing TLS and all the elitist mentality. Funny thing too he was set on going to the local law school here, albeit a Top 20? (Canada) in the world (according to QS). I proceeded to tell him LOLCanada and I was going for T6 or bust. It was interesting too because we had completely different perspectives (T6/BigLaw/$$$) vs (Local/Basic?/Normal?) about law.

From my recent LSAT study class of 40, only 2 people scored above a 170, and 15 scored above a 160 - just FYI
