Re: october takers in ASIA - thoughts?
I think I may have mixed mine around. If running shoes was section 3 and stones in the river + Joan Lee was section 4, then it seems like section 3 (lr2) was indeed the experimental.

i assume everyone in asia is done with the lsat. correct me if i'm wrong.
it seems that for ppl who had lr exp, first lr (section 1) had a question about
second lr (3, according to sumstalwart, the x) had the running shoes, serious conversation vs. small talk source of happiness question
third lr (5, one i thought was hardest) the infamous joan lee, stone in river (though i still don't remember this one), and intl. trade in europe 7th 8th c.

I only remember stone in the river because it was the one question I wasn't too sure about in that section. I think that we can confirm that third LR is real as those who had other experimentals remember those questions.
I seriously do not remember any questions in section 1 LR though. I only remember guessing the last question (grr)

those people didn't seem to have quite as much trouble with the LG as people this time did. they had more with the RC which i felt was pretty normal actually. crazy, well hopefully we have some big scorers like they did

Re: october takers in ASIA - thoughts?
Took it at Yonsei on Sunday. I was in room 311 in case some of you were randomly in there with me haha.
I had LR RC LR LR LG
I thought the RC was fairly challenging and the third and fourth LG were a bit tricky, definitely missed a few there. I thought the LR was a little too easy, all three sections. Any idea which one was experimental? I hope it was the second one. I had the same letter answer for like 10/25 haha.
Oh, and fuck that question about stones in the river. The whole time I was thinking who gives a shit which stones are wet or slippery and couldn't wrap my head around it. Had to come back after I was done with the other questions and pretty much just guess. I wanted to murder both of those kids in that stream by stoning them with algae covered rocks.

Jesus, LSAC. Pull your shit together. I find this incredible. I mean, sure, the chances that someone took the June 2010, waited two years, and then took the Oct 2012 exam is incredibly low... but talk about an unfair advantage to a couple of lucky test takers (if there are any).sokomofo wrote:so apparently the exam that we took yesterday was the june 2010 exam that was administered in asia:

a few high scorers there.
Give me another shot at game 3 and I guarantee you that I will make that game my bitch.

they did seem to get pretty high scores though lol.. but you're right, it's best not to read too much into itsokomofo wrote:yeah i know! no one really complains about the third game, which makes me a bit nervous... hahahah. but then again, they're only 10 or so people of everyone who took the test that day, so what we see there are likely to be unrepresentative (ugh the LSAT is over why do i keep looking for logical flaws in everything? lol)defdef wrote:those people didn't seem to have quite as much trouble with the LG as people this time did. they had more with the RC which i felt was pretty normal actually. crazy, well hopefully we have some big scorers like they did
yeah, i actually almost took the test in june 2009 but withdrew a few weeks in advance because i hadn't really studied at all and put it off until 2012. not that it would've ended up making a difference, but there is the chance that someone could get lucky.cookiejar1 wrote:Jesus, LSAC. Haha that's so weird. I was in the row closest to the wall when you walk in. I was second to last from the back. I wish those two Korean American girls didn't talk so much in the beginning before the test started, they were kind of annoying. There were some pretty cute girls in that room too. I'm not sure if you noticed, but one of them didn't come back after break.
Yeah, I read that about the LG cookie monster. The same thing happened to me in June. I was too overconfident about the games and always sort of "winged" them. I was better prepared this time, although I definitely missed a few on the last two games.

Interning and bumming around in Asia while supposedly prepping for the LSATs. It beats paying rent in LA, that's for sure.
I'm probably outing myself at this point but if anyone wanted the most relaxing test environment in all of Asia.... the Philippines. 4 test takers.

OMG.... this is really hard to believe... I'm sure at least a few would have been lucky enough to sit for both... This is soooooooooooo unfair..
