PT average: 176.6
Prediction: 176
Actual: 175
I really want to know what the heck I missed and how, because I really thought I did better than that. Unless the curve was just brutal.

Re: PT average / test day expectation / actual score (oct2010)
Canceled June test after messing up LG. I was averaging PT in low 170's before June test (although the average was around 175 for the last five PT before June test). I did not have any fresh PT to practice for Oct test so I repeated the PT I have already done. I averaged 178 for the retake PT (including nineteen 180's), but I was not sure whether this was the real indication of my performance. After taking Oct test, I felt like I got 175+, but I kept doubting myself as time went on. I was bracing myself for low 170's in the end, but I was pleasantly surprised to get 179 tonight. My three kids are really happy for me as well. I told them that I came in second place since they don't know what 179 means.

We're thinking the curve was brutal. -7 maybe. Which only confirms my thought: that Voldemort runs LSAC.Adjudicator wrote:PT average: 176.6

PT Average: 160 (157-162)
Expectation: 162
Actual Score: 163
Not retaking unless my whole cycle goes poorly (not aiming for T14). If so, I'll be taking it again next year.

PT Average: 165-167
Expected: 162
Oct 163
Lower score due to panicking in LG where I probably missed more Qs than normal. I know the opinion is that the curve was brutal, however, I still believe this was at least a -12 test. I'm confident I got 78 questions right and that's what I think a 163 is. Either that, or I had a better LR section than I thought. 82-83 CR's would have been at my high expectation end after walking out of this test. I hope the documents get loaded later today!

Re: PT average / test day expectation / actual score (oct2010)
Average: 164-166
Expectation: 160 -- felt bad leaving the test
Actual score: 162.
Not overly thrilled, was hoping to be a little closer to 165, but the schools I'm really looking at are Chapman, San Diego University & Santa Clara University (go ahead, make fun of me TLSers
) so I think I'll probably be ok. Debating retaking it...

PT Avg: 160
Expectation: 165 (walking out I just felt confident I did better than any PT, for some reason)
Previous LSAT: 155
Actual score: 160
I have mixed feelings about my score, but I overall I'm stoked I had a 5 point increase and broke into the 80th percentile. I'm not interested in T14 or any of that, so I'm happy with it. Congrats to everyone who achieved at least part of their goal!

I was at my girlfriend's house when I got my score. Apparently my joyous shouts woke up her parents. They understood how hard I worked at this though and were there to congratulate me.

I'm actually pretty happy with this for now. Given that I hit 172 by cramming for two weeks, I think that I'll be able to do really well if I prep hard for December.

to bubble in!!! But 174 is nothing to cry about and I don't think I'll be retaking.

You were one of the three people on TLS whom I actually wondered about as scores were released. (along with EIT and the Oprah avatar dude from Case Western) I had been following your study progress thread too. That's brutal. My heart goes out and I'm having a drink for you right now.3|ink wrote: PT Average: 173
