How many people lie about their LSAT scores? Forum

Prepare for the LSAT or discuss it with others in this forum.

Have you told the truth about your LSAT score on TLS?

I've lied about my score - more than just 1 or 2 points...

a) I just want to say that I voted for the second option in the poll- but this was back when the third option said something about getting a 140 and going to Cooley. But no, I'm not lying about (or fudging) my score. If I was gonna lie about my stats, I'd make my GPA higher.

b) And I don't believe that many others on TLS are lying, either. This is a very intelligent, well-informed, self-selecting community. We have high standards, and we seem to push one another to achieve those standards. I'm sure it (lying) happens, but I doubt it happens to any significant degree.

I never knew anyone's GPA in undergrad until some secretary accidentally mass mailed a gpa list to the entire department.

Self selecting, you avoided it with your friends because of your 2.7

You are such a dork for that comment that I don't even know how to reply to it.

How do you know this, and why would they do this?
Not sure how he knows it, but are you kidding me? People in person lie all the time about the stupidest shit. And I can imagine your LSAT score in law school is probably one of the most common things lied about ever.
I always thought that people generally stopped talking about LSAT score once they're enrolled. Who are these people who ask their classmates what there LSAT score is? Who is randomly going to tell people what their LSAT score is?
I'm not in law school, yet anyways, but that seems like a normal thing to come up in conversation as it is something you have in common with these people. Same way GPA's and such come up occasionally in undergrad.
If you do well and you bring up your score, people will think you are an ass. If you did poorly and bring up your score, people will think you are an idiot. Unless you are pretty good friends with someone its a topic you probably want to avoid.
