Re: "Anything lower than..." or "Anything higher than..."
Anything lower than a 164 and I will retake in October
Anything lower than a 155 and I will contemplate suicide
Anything higher than a 169 and I can get into my preferred school
Anything higher than a 166 and I will pee my pants
My average PT score during studying time was 164
After taking the June 2010 LSAT, I realistically believe my score to be 163
Although, I'm really considering my options. Depending on where I want to live/work eventually, I may just go for a good scholly at a regional school...

Anything lower than a ___ and I will retake next year - 170 (in no rush to go to school just yet)
Anything lower than a ___ and I will contemplate suicide - N/A - i have fallbacks if this didn't work
Anything higher than a ___ and I can get into my preferred school - 173 - I'm assuming this means "with ease."
Anything higher than a ___ and I will pee my pants - 175
My average PT score during studying time was - 168

So in a nutshell, it's T-14 or bust for me. I want a 170 or higher, considering my GPA. I have strong softs, so it basically boils down to this test. This was my first time, and while I think I did good, I felt I could have PTing a lot higher. I think if I can up my PT average about 4-5 points and take it again, I will get what I want (depending on what the results are this time around).
I guessed on 4 LG questions (mulch game), fought my way through the last game, and finished everything for RC and LR. It's a longshot but if I can somehow get 1 or 2 of those guesses right, and incur minimal damage on the rest (I struggled with LR at times during my practice, going -12 some times but in other cases managing a -7) maybe I can some how finagle a -10 overall. For some reason I felt extremely confident throughout LR for the entire exam. Who knows?

I felt pretty good about everything on this test except for a disastrous LG section, which turned out to be the experimental.
What I definitely do not feel good about is waiting another 2 weeks to know my score.

Naah. I can't. I have been reading the thread but they are all like 20. You can't talk reason to a 20 year old. They don't know what they don't know. Sort of how they feel about 17 year olds. "oh my gosh, I was never THAT dumb!"Knockglock wrote:Lmao......you need to explain that in the "depressed because of June 2010 LSAT" thread.cigarman wrote:Anything lower than a ___ and I will retake in October - 153

They just don't have any life experience to know there life is not over if they don't get in some great school. I went to a 750th tier college and worked hard and did extremely well financially. It can be done. they just don't know that...

I feel the same way, I have lived in the West my whole life and I know my life is not over if I don't practice in New York or DC. I hope to get a pretty good scholarship at a good regional school and go from there!

I've noticed that most of the people here on TLS are typically more of the motivated, and therefore more of the intellectual, of the general LSAT population; however, I do not fit that mold and do not have same raw intellect and potential as most users here, so my numbers will be *ehem* significantly lower than most.

Feel free to copy and paste the above to keep similar format
+ your average is not all together. it's the month before the test. that's where you're at. it's normal to go down 2-3 points, even 4 points because environmental and emotional facts can lower your accuracy 3-4%, but dropping 165 to 155 is major. that's like 91st to 70th percentile, or 21 out of every hundred people. that makes 175 to 165 look small.

if this is for real, congrats. a 172 is pretty good, you know. 172-180 is all 99th percentile. schools really only care, because 180 averages in their 150s better.filmorejive wrote:Anything lower than a ___and I will retake in October - 175
