Also, many of you are getting ADVANCED warning. The closings from this past December weren't announced until early Friday afternoon. So hang in there Danny Boy!!!!

My LSAT location at Towson got canceled...
So what were the options for December when exams were canceled?
What if I can't make the new make up dates? My schedule is pretty full for all the weekends in February, so I doubt I would be able to make a make up exam if it is held in two weeks.
Will they refund my money if I can't take it?

Sorry for all these questions.. now I'm just anxious. haha.

I live like 20 minutes from Rutgers , but snowy conditions at 7:30 AM would suck getting there. I actually planned to stay at a friend's house but now IDK because if I get there and there is no test, I don't want to be snowed in there. I want them to at least know by noon tomorrow. Just makes everyones lives (including theirs) easier.

Ever taken the LSAT at Rutgers? Testing conditions?

Why haven't we heard about NJ? Totals for South Jersey are 8-10 inches. I think LSAC gets pleasure out of our anxiety.

I'm taking it at Temple and I'm hoping that the school's usual lack of response to snow issues (we haven't had cancelled class due to snow in like 6 years) will carry over to the LSAT. I know some people are praying for a closing, but I just want to bang this bad boy out on Saturday and be DONE!!!
Does anyone know if the cancelled centers will take the makeup the weekend of the 20th or the following weekend? Regionals for College Mock Trial are the following weekend, and that will ruin my life, big time.

I really hope that having an additional 1 or 2 weeks to study doesn't cause the LSAT administrators to make the test harder for the closed locations.

Does anyone have an idea of how much snow will cause the centers to close. There is a storm watch in my area for fri night and sat morning with about 5-7 inches expected.

Has anyone seen or heard what the December closings make up test was like?

December had a -14 curve. Everybody won.

+1. I'm curious about this too. Even with a great curve, it's still nice to know how the makeup test stacked up against the regular one.
I normally like snow, but lately, it's been getting on my nerves. Why, of all weekends, does it have to be this one? Couldn't have Mr. Snow picked a more convenient date for us LSATers?

8-10? Central VA is due to get 20 to 28 inches of snow, yet UVa hasn't canceled yet. I think there'll be a lot more to add to the list tomorrow once the snow starts.

YUP! I'll be there! DO OR DIE!!!!!! And then, when it's all over, I say, "Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling. "

Also, to the person with concerns about future dates, you will be allowed to re-schedule free in June if you can't make the re-take date.

Score releases are going to be torture. Could we see scores coming out on the actual release date?
Are 2010 applicants epically screwed?
Will this give an ever so slight advantage to Dec. takers who won't have to compete with the last minute Feb. competition?!

Ohhhhh speculation!!!!!!!!

I think the general consensus was that any of the tests that were not on the regular date in the U.S. (so, any of the international / Sunday Sabbath / Texas makeup tests) did not have the -14 curve that the "regular" one did. Of course, all of those were nondisclosed, so no one really knows for sure. (For all we know the other tests had a -20 curve or something.) But, LSAC has been known to reuse their non-disclosed U.S. February tests, so they already have a curve generated from their large "normal" population to judge other, smaller, maybe skewed future test takers by...

No news from LSAC yet, but DC-area closings are updated on WTOP - http://www.wtop.com/?nid=228&a=1

I'm at UDC and "all weekend activities are cancelled", which I assume includes LSAT. If the school decides its facilities are closed, they're closed.

Three more closings added. I don't know about Jersey but they are predicting 5-10 inches for practically the whole of Maryland. Must I remind LSAC that Baltimore is part of Maryland too? Waiting till 11 to see if the center is canceled.

LSAC doesn't have american listed as a closed test center. Also, WTOP.com just says the university will close early friday, it says nothing about saturday.

I am glued to the announcement page. I got a non-refundable hotel room for the test. LSAC better keep the test center open
