brusselsprouts wrote:I had a bad study day yesterday and just was meh on all my drilling and a timed LR section. I know this is completely normal but it's frustrating to feel this way with31 days.Anyway today I'm going to the NYPL to study instead so I'll feel all fancy and academic instead of sitting in my cold little apartment. Most importantly CONGRATS PEPP!!! celebrate with some sage butter brussels sprouts then send some to me.
Let's do this.adil91 wrote:Alright guys, I've calmed down after the initial shock..I've ordered a few new materials from Amazon, including new preptests and a new LG guide. I'm ready and determined to study my ass off. I'm going to wake up super early every morning and drill the hell out of logic games. I'm going to make LR my slave and I'm gonna kick RC's ass. LETS DO THIS
You'll do great!nlee10 wrote:whooooo. 31 days! I'm so excited....not

FWIW, I don't think this is weird. I've reread the Trainer several times. The last month of prep, I went over my weak points in the Trainer. Rereading is great because when you first read it, you're not really paying attention to specific concepts, you're just absorbing everything, without the experience of actually understanding the exam. Going through the Trainer again with a trained mind is something I would recommend, and I think several others would too. You do you, Zacbro.zacboro wrote:So I feel so weird doing this because we're 31 days away and I've been studying for months now but I gave in and I'm officially spending today and tomorrow redoing/rereading everything in the Trainer about RC. It's weird but maybe this is what I need. The only silver lining is I'm throwing a game in between each chapter, and doing LR at the end of each day (parallel reasoning that is, which accounts for literally half of all of the questions I got wrong in the last week). I hope this pays off and after this I can focus solely on full PTs. We're too close for me to still be developing skills, I should be perfecting them, not developing them!
ETA: Decided on Flaw drilling today, Parallel tomorrow!
EETA: When yinz drill by type, do you time yourself? And how do you figure out how much time to give?

DO DO DO. Even if you don't study at all, you have the opportunity to score closer to your September average. If you can spare the $$$, it couldn't hurt, right?smccgrey wrote:still haven't registered. almost did just now, but then didn't.
Scrub. I was -0 LG from birth.schmelling wrote:peetesLA wrote:I finally finished BR on PT 62. It's the first time I've used BR as a method.
RC: -4/-1
LR: -2/-1
LG: -5/-1
LR: -2/-2
171 timed, 178 BR
Games are killing me. I used LG from PT 51 as my fifth section and got -4. I believe it's possible to get perfect on games - if I do that I should be 175+
I was in a similar position and about this far from my test too. I took like 5-7 days and just ran through cambridge 1-39 games repeatedly with 7sage until I knew it all in my sleep. I would do just the minimal amount of LR and RC to stay sharp during those intense LG days. After that week it was extremely rare for me to go more than -2 on games. I had to play catch up a little on LR and RC afterwards, but that was a small price to pay.

I still am not consistently -0. I always make at least one stupid mistake. *sigh*PeanutsNJam wrote: Scrub. I was -0 LG from birth.
