Always really happy to see I didn't get any(many) guesses right on practice tests.

LOL just finished BRing that RC section from yesterday. Got totally wrecked by 1 of the passages. Even during BR being untimed, I still couldn't understand that fucking passage. I feel like an idiot but it was a level 5 difficulty so I see why I had trouble, but still, I'm usually really good with legal passages but not that one.

I took it a while ago, but honestly don't think I'll remember anything from it. The most I remember is the general topic of one of the passages being about urban cities or some shit like that

Doing BR and sort of noticing why I eliminated a lot of choices.

If we have a stimulus that is an offset or compares two items while concluding one is better, a correct answer choice cannot merely state that the two options 'differ, - there needs to be a definitive direction.

Lol nvm about BR. What is self-control and where can I get some.

Scored to 175, raw 94. I definitely wasn't at anything resembling optimum mental capacity for most of that one so I guess I'm okay with that for now.

Tried not to pay attention to what I got wrong and I'm going to ""BR"" this evening anyways. (baby steps...)

Ugh, just did a timed LR section. As always, went slightly over time and I'm not feeling too good about the section. Idk how I didn't have enough time, I finish the first 10 question around the 9 min mark, ugh whatever man.

eta: just scored it on 7sage and i did terrible. k. BR should be fun
eta 2:
i know it doesn't mean much but this was for PT 46, and i did all 4 sections over a course of like 2 days(?) or something like that. but i ended up going -24 on the test as a whole

RC:10 (BRed this already and I actually misread a lot of questions--did yesterday)
LR:-4 (from like 2 days ago)
LR:-10 (just did this one, will BR VERY THOROUGHLY in a bit)
LG:-0 (also done like 2 days ago)

Total score: 159 lololol

Hey, LG and LR1 are looking really good! I can't remember what's on 46 specifically but some of those 40s LR sections are pretty brutal imo.

Yeah, i was actually pumped to take a PT today but felt like finishing off PT 46's sections before doing so. I have to work on getting better with tougher weaken/strengthen/flaw questions. Those just kill me

Thinking about seriously changing up my study routine/methods. I'm worried I'm getting burnt out but I don't think I can justify taking a break just yet.

I'm noticing I'm struggling with those too, especially ID the flaw. I might go back through Manhattan and drill them again.

I'm ok with tougher flaw questions, I've gotten better with them a bit. But some of the weaken/strengthen questions that are tougher, have right A/C's that are just so "w0t".

Dec 2011 PT done finally.

Test:
1; LR1 -2 (one really dumb mistake and other was a dumb mistake on a hard problem; didn't feel rushed)

2; LG -4 (-1 careless error and one game I ran out of time on)

3; RC -9 (four were random guesses and all wrong. Really not happy with this RC. My RC seems to be all over the place depending if I finish the section)

4; Exp LG -0 (5 min to spare...realized I had seen the last LG during BR)

5; LR2 -4 (time crunched at end but found last questions hard)

Raw 82/101 -> 166

Blind Review

1; LR1 -0
2; LG -0
3; RC -3
4; exp LG -0
5; LR2 -4 ( caught one error and made a new one )

Raw 94-> 176

Either way, I think I'll have more confidence next time. I was feeling shaky going into this one, as my second was lower than my first (which according to Testmasters is normal but worried me anyways.)

Jotting down my questions for class and academic support by section. I have about 10 questions on the LR section in terms of clarifying stuff.

Took my first PT yesterday after taking 2 months off. I think that taking time away from studying really helped all of the information and tactics solidify. Hopefully this is indicative of an upwards trend and not just a fluke. :/

PT53
LR -3
LG -1
LR -3
RC -4

Raw 89
Scaled 170

Going to blind review now and drill the harder stims by making up my own questions and answers (pre-phrasing practice).
Glad to be back on board the LSAT train...

PT68, G4---I hate you.
These are the games that are absolutely killing me. Open-ended sequencing games that have a lot of possibilities. Where you can't make many upfront inferences and you kinda gotta brute force your way through the questions. PT A G3 was also really difficult for me.
I'm very comfortable with in/out games and grouping, even the hardest ones. It's just these level 4 sequencing games that kill me, and I'm not sure how to fix this issue.

68.4 is one of the hardest games I've ever done. Don't beat yourself up for struggling with it. Fortunately we've got over a month and a half to drill the heck out of these uber difficult ones. 8)

Finally got around to taking a prep test for the first time in 18 months. PT 12, since I don't have many recent ones left. -2 RC, 0 LG, 0 LR for a 179. I had a hard time sitting still, and I cheated by only taking four sections and consuming three Starbursts and two pieces of nicotine gum during the test, but I'm happy.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
