im real serious grey the "targeting certain parts of the brain" is more controversial than tDCS as a whole but i have no problem being a guinea pig w this thing the only thing i wont do is shave my head but that can be avoided by getting sponges n soaking them in saline solution

im really thinking about trying it on my fiance with LGs n seeing if it makes any difference at all i think that would b pretty cool

I hope not. Taking that one in the next hour or two. Did 60 yesterday and finished with my lowest score in my last 10 PTs. I heard 62 is a bitch too. Getting 3 awful scores in a row just might crush my soul. Will report back later today.

I'm not going to lie to you guys, 62-64 felt much harder. Maybe it was me and I just wasn't in the best frame of mind for those PTs, but at least 65 was nice.

I accidentally skipped 61, and took 62 last Saturday and got a 172 (my highest score yet). I did the best I've ever done on reading (-3), and did good on LGs even though it felt kinda hard, granted I took an extra 30 second or a minute on LG.

I took 61 yesterday, with the RC from 47 for an experimental, and got my worst score in a month and a half. I got a 165, which I guess isn't terrible, but I'm shooting for a 172+. In terms of RC, I got -9 on experimental and -9 and the real RC. It's just incredibly frustrating, as I think I understand the passage pretty well, but the questions they ask are just so misleading or something.

Is it just me of is PT 61 abnormally difficult? Granted I was really hungry in the middle of the exam, but my study partner and I both scored well below our averages. The only part that I found particularly challenging was RC, but it was REALLY hard. Is this representative of the more recent tests?

ETA - Great 300th post! Only took me 7 years.

What exactly is hard about these tests guys compared to others

PT 62 had one of the hardest LR questions ever (at least to me): LR2 #18. Also, both LRs had 26 questions, which could be a little intimidating for those who check the total # of questions first each section.

OMG, that explains it. I took 66 as my diagnostic and received a 164, then dropped down to 160 for 62 and 64 after studying for a week or two, and was so upset that I cried after I finished the second. A lot of crying was had. Lots.

im thinking ill have her do a couple of the same kind, maybe grouping distribution where there are 2/group and theres one in the morning and evening or something bc those are pretty standard, show her how to set them up how to write rules, etc., then zap her and give her one she hasnt done n see what happens

pwo idk i havent heard that it improves physical performance but obvs theres some mind body connect during physical activity so maybe improved cognitive performance could also help w working out w knows
