I live with my folks during the summer (damn those August-May apt leases) so drinking at home is a no-go, Only time I can throw it back for now is with my friends, and most of them went home for the summerMikey wrote:dm1683 wrote: at least you can legally drink...

Yeah I'm 26 and somehow managed to sit next to someone older than me in the testing room yesterday. I don't really feel old though, although life is vastly different when you're 21 compared to 26.Walliums wrote:Oh great, I sound perfectly mature then.....Mikey wrote:pls tell me you're not almost 30. Dave Killoran from Powerscore predicting -11 curve, but wouldn't be surprised at a -10 or a -9.

Ha, I'm only 20... one more month! Before the test started I asked the guy next to me if he had ever taken the LSAT before and he was like "yeah, 17 years ago!" I guess I knew that people that much older than me took the LSAT but for some reason it still came as a surprise to me.MediocreAtBest wrote:Yeah I'm 26 and somehow managed to sit next to someone older than me in the testing room yesterday. Does anyone remember which of the four games on the real LG had only 5 questions?

Re: June 2017 Waiters Thread- Dowsing for 180s
Did anyone else have a really crappy testing location? I got put into a gymnasium in the tiniest, flexible chairs (i thought i was going to break it), and we had fold up lunch tables to test on. Overall extremely noisy with construction going on outside and there was a thunderstorm out side for the last 3 sections.
Think I did quite well, however.Didn't get as much studying or practice tests in as i would have liked. Thinking I scored mid-high 160's but will retest anything under 175.

It's how many you can miss to get a 170.StetsonU wrote:Btw, i'm unfamiliar with the curve, what does it mean when you guys say you think the curve will be -9 or -10?

Yes I think I've settled in my mind that both -10 and -11 will be scored a 170.Platopus wrote:Dave Killoran from Powerscore predicting -11 curve, but wouldn't be surprised at a -10 or a -9.

I'm assuming you're a fellow Florida TLSer from your username? My center was great, took it at Florida Southern because it was the closest still open when I signed up. Had big 2 person desks for each person, proctors were efficient and very nice and the building was pretty new. If I retake I'm 100% taking it there again.StetsonU wrote:Did anyone else have a really crappy testing location? It was either the first or second one (I think first). I remember because I normally skip the 5 question one and come back to it for time-saving purposes.Platopus wrote:This level of detail eludes me.greenmusic97 wrote:Does anyone remember which of the four games on the real LG had only 5 questions?

Re: June 2017 Waiters Thread- Dowsing for 180s
So I was worried about a tight curve too, but then I started thinking about past practice tests with a similar set up (easy LG, hard RC) and realized Monday's test was pretty similar to PT71 (the last test in volume 5 of the 10 Actuals). That test was actually weighted at a -14, which I know is wishful thinking but... its something lol.Slippin' Jimmy wrote:I'll take it.saf18hornet wrote:Yes I think I've settled in my mind that both -10 and -11 will be scored a 170.Platopus wrote:Dave Killoran from Powerscore predicting -11 curve, but wouldn't be surprised at a -10 or a -9.
