Re: The Official June 2017 Study Group
I regret starting Suits last night. I'm never going to study now. I did 20 FIRs and just went back to the show

Re: The Official June 2017 Study Group
I'm feeling the same way about Game of Thrones. Started it maybe a month ago. Takes all my will to study and not go on a 3 day binger...
I'm about 60% of my way through 7sage. Love the fact that you can adjust the speed. I'm able to get through the material much more quickly and usually have the speed set to 1.7x to 2.0x. I haven't followed the schedule set out religiously, but was kind of surprised that logic games seems to be the last section covered. I guess it makes sense, since there is such a heavy emphasis on understanding the underlying logic.
I've studied 70hrs since starting in December. My goal each week is at least 5 days and 15 hours. At this pace can get in about 300 hours of prep before the June test compared to 200 hours if I only average 10hrs/week.
I haven't taken a PT since my diagnostic of 163 and BR of 178. I went -8 LG, -2 and -3 LR, and -4 RC. I'm ready to finish the 7sage curriculum and focus on PT's and drilling logic games. I purchased the LSAT Trainer but not sure if going through it after 7sage will be the best use of my time.

The cutting/bulking cycles are too much for me. I tried it but losing weight has always been a bitch for me. I've got about 35 pounds to cut to get down to 225 and then I'm going to stick to maintaining.

Any help for me. I go -21 on every section. Can't break 121, it's pissing me off.dj9i27 wrote:
Should add, keep it up I've said it before it is good that LG is the bad section in the genesis, they're super dope once you finally get them.

Ha, I think some of the knowledge from studying in 2011 helped. And thanks! Yeah I was pretty lost to begin with some of the game set-ups when I took my diagnostic so it's good to hear this is the section many people can learn and end up going -0.dj9i27 wrote:
What. The. Fuck. On a diagnostic? Even if it is BR, that is like the best I've heard.

Do you or did you re-do games 10x over like JY suggests in 7sage to memorize inferences?

Re: The Official June 2017 Study Group
debating about how far out i need to start studying for this. I studied intensively for the dec 15 test but haven't looked at Qs since. worried about starting too early just bc lack of materials really. ive seen every Q multiple times already so im thinking my prep is mostly going to be like getting back in shape than making huge changes. the only things i havent seen are the 2016 tests, so at least i have some new questions.

didnt reset watch in games/last section, found out halfway through the section when i got to a weird game.dj9i27 wrote:also test day mistakes mostly caused by sickness/arrogance. i think its a confidence/relaxation thing. if you get out of your groove games go from being a crutch to an achilles heel real quick. and since most high pters rely on going 0/-1 on it, getting something like -2/-3 could knock you out of the 170s.

Re: The Official June 2017 Study Group
kinda hard to succeed with that goin on lol. games can be hard to sort out if youre not feelin it. when i woke up on test day i knew games were gunna be a struggle based on my warmups, but i didnt expect a watch problem lol.dj9i27 wrote:The real games and LR was late in Sept. for me and that is when I really started feeling like shit so that is probably why I got hit real hard there. I went -2 on RC because it was early but like -9 on games because I was really having trouble breathing/not vomiting. I also think I went in wayyyyy to cocky, I knew that I got lucky with PT72s games and should have put more attention to them.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:dj9i27 wrote:Why is it games that seems to get the better of the high PTers on test day; overconfidence perhaps? i used an old blueprint lsat watch that they handed out with the class.dj9i27 wrote:what watch did you use? I have to MasterMind one and actually like it a lot.
i had a legit lsat watch (not the mastermind one but another decent one) and i lost it

the BP ones were super flimsy (i was in a beta group for it so maybe theyre less flimsy now)

And I really hope the rumors about June being admind on a tabled are false, I might just cancel if that is the case lol.
Wait what is this real
