Gamer, my average game time is back to ~20 minutes. Whatever you do, don't stop drilling, because your skills will evaporate.

Checking in! I'm retaking after getting a 164 October last year and am hoping for a ten point improvement. I just switched my gears back to prepping with 7sage since logic games are my most troublesome section. Last time I didn't practice with full PTs and really felt it on test day when I tired out midway. I did my first full PT today (LSAC's sample one) and got a 163, but part of that was familiarity from practicing the same problems last year. RC was my worst with -6, so I need to start balancing out my prep to other parts of the test.

Took PT 45 today.

LR1: -5
RC: -2
LG: -1
LR2: -6

Score: 168

LR is still my biggest weakness, and I will continue to drill. Hopefully improvements will be made.

My diagnostic near the end of May was a 156. I've been studying Powerscore's LG LR and RC and almost done with all of them. I took Superprep A Friday timed and scored a 163. I'll be using Manhattan's LR and Cambridge packets next. This will be my third time taking the test, with the first two times September 2014 and December 2014 having terrible prep methods and just not spending enough time.
The only thing I'm unsure about is how I should be doing PT. I have 9 recent (52-72) completely untouched tests plus Superprep B and C. After marking off tests that Powerscore uses for problems in the books, I've discovered that from test 39 and beyond, I also have 43, 45, 47, 50. So that makes a total of 16 new PT to work with. After reading other guides, it seems I should save the 9 recent tests I have for a few weeks before the test.
I've read guides that suggest 1-3 practice tests a week for a few months leading up to the test. I suppose I could save my 16 untouched PT for the month of September, but as for before then, I would like to take PT, but I'm not sure which to use. Perhaps I can retake old ones and take ones that Powerscore has partially used. Any advice for PT would be appreciated. I would like to work with 5 and 6+ sections.

I have a question about prep test 21 game 4 question 21.

I know that answer choice A (G) is correct, however I selected H.

I diagrammed this rule as a block with H coming before J and it generally worked with my questions. But the rule is conditional logic and not representing that is what caused me to miss this question.

I've kind of answered my own question when I was typing out what confused me - the necessary condition (H) exists in 4 and then H is the repeated variable in this instance.

My question is how do you diagram this rule. After solving this I wrote out J x+1 --> H x.

Is there a better way to do this?

edit: something where you get visually what is going on because the conditional representation is backwards of what goes on frequently

What this rule is really saying is that if J is selected, then it must directly follow H. Said differently, if J, then HJ. So I'd diagram this rule as J--> [HJ]

I would give you rep but we don't have an option so thank you - LG are my worst section and your answer was spot on.

Hello everyone. I've been a frequent visitor to this site over the past three years but recently registered. I took the June test but cancelled after struggling with the LG section. Checking in for another 3+ months of study and hopefully a better performance in October!

For those who work full-time, when do you guys have time to study for the LSATs? I'm always too tired or brain-dead to study right after work.

Just gotta grind. Drill LR/LG during my lunch break, go to the gym post work then get a few hours of studying in after that. PT/ Review on weekends.
Disclaimer: Worked almost full time while taking 18 credits during my last 1.5 years of undergrad so if anything studying and work is considerably easier.

I'm lucky and have some down time at work most days where I can get some studying in. And I don't study right when work is done, I take a break for dinner and a TV episode and then study from about 7pm to 10pm depending on how much I got in at work. PTs and reviews I usually only do on weekends.

Not sure where to post this, but I'm not entirely sure why I got #17 wrong on PT 24 RC section. I chose B but I can somewhat see why A is a more correct answer. If someone could explain, I'd be grateful.

Hey guys and girls and non-gender conforming individuals,

Been prepping for 2 months now and I'm kind of starting to get a little bit bored. Im about to finish the material in the Trainer and want to start taking as many PTs as possible. Is anyone taking PTs on a consistent basis that would like to schedule together to take them throughout the week and then discuss them afterwards??? Or is there a group that is already doing this????

I hope this feeling of boredom/lack of motivation is just a part of the ebb and flow of things. The last times I sat for it I had only studied for 2 months maximum and I was feeling bored like this when it came to test date, ended up with a 164. Don't want that to happen again!!!

I've taken two PTs so far, about a month ago and a month before that and hit a 168 and 174. I've been using the cambridge packets 1-20 for most of the drilling. I can take a PT on Sunday if anyone is willing.

THERE ARE EXACTLY 100 DAYS LEFT TILL THE OCTOBER TEST!

What is the best way to prep for the test in this period of time? I'm doing pithypike's method.

How many hours would you say must be dedicated to studying the LSAT and getting 170+? I think around 400+ hours?
