Maybe I'll feel differently when I've calmed down but right now I'm way too angry.

Im not sure which prep company I got this from, but sometimes it's normal to see a decrease in your score when you start working on a new approach. The reason being that your trying to apply the news skills you've learned and you haven't fully developed them yet. In your case the first time doing the section you were relying on your natural abilities which you're more comfortable with. I wouldn't sweat it.

Enrolled in 7Sage last night. Hopefully I will start scoring 170+ soon. A few months ago I was already scoring 165+.

Wish me good luck!!

Congrats man. Can you pinpoint anything in your prep thus far that led to this great improvement?

Checking in. I've been studying off and on for the last few months, but started seriously studying in December. I'm going through The LSAT Trainer now and am using LSAT blog 6 month study schedule as well.

Checking into the group. I'm new to the forum, but took the September LSAT and scored a 162. I applied to schools this year, but various reasons have caused me to push back law school a year, so I am taking this extra time to re-take in June and then apply again at the beginning of next cycle. Good luck to everyone else!

Balancing LSAT prep, school, and work is going to be difficult. I have gaps in my schedule so maybe I'll just take my prep stuff with me and work in little bits throughout the day.

Tell me about it bro. I'm out of school but I work full time.... and spring is the busiest time of the year for us. I've also been really sick the past few days, but I'm trying to stay positive, I guess.

Getting back into prep today by reading the Trainer between classes. Maybe tonight I'll do some LG drilling.

Congrats on your improvement! Can you provide any tips on how you improved your LR sections? How did you drill them?

Hey Everyone. I'm back again after a hiatus. Took it real sweet and easy for the last two months, with few hours of studying every now and then.

I am aiming for June. I work full-time, and June exam's time is more conducive for studying evening/late nights. I have a 163 (June, 2013) and a 160 (September, 2013), which means my score that counts so far is 163, and I need 173+.

I am going to put my heart and soul into this, I have been saying this for a while, but, I think I am ready to do it finally. 4 hours of studying every weekday and 8+ hours every weekend day.

I am going to start with the trainer, and games drilling. I am also planning on reading a non-fiction book for an hour every night. Once I am done with the Trainer, I will go through the Manhattan LSAT books for LR and LG. All this with Sections and Full PTs thrown in at increased frequency as time goes by.

I am hoping to see significant improvement by the end of March.

Welcome and good luck! Also, rather than books, I suggest magazine and newspaper articles as their length and the need for there to be more information "packed" into that length are more similar to RC passages than books that aren't as conservative with words

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
