That sucks, that's like a 2-year lag!

For all we know Yale's med could drop to 172
Harvard to 171 and Stanford 171 for our class given the continuing downward trend.

I'm a 3.54 before LSAC mutilates it.

I'm expecting a 174+ cause that was my pt average. But I also thought test day went really well so it could higher (fingers crossed).

Very highly doubt that, Harvard's median has been steady at 173 and Stanford's has actually gone up

Seems more likely that Harvard's GPA will continue to slip before LSAT does. Not sure why I care because it's not like I have the GPA for either.

Well I'm definitely a fan of them scrambling for LSATs and willing to overlook my GPA.

I think it is affected more if you are in the mid 3s than at the top
This is due to how LSAC calculates +s and -s on tour grades which is usually different than how your university did.

If I've only attended 1 undergraduate institution and we don't award A+s will my GPA change at all? Don't understand how to use that calculator thing. All of our classes are 1 credit with some arts classes being .5 credits.

I'm hoping to get a boost from it, my school doesn't have +/-, and my only non A's have been very close. That being said I have also had some low A's so I'm not sure, but fingers crossed.

Add up how many credits you have at each letter grade. It doesn't matter whether classes are worth 1 or 100 at your school, it will just use whatever number you put in weight for the average.

that would not be good for me.... but honestly I don't think GPA will ever be weighted more than the LSAT for admissions, it is a lot harder to compare GPA's from different institutions than it is to compare student's LSAT score.

I hope this is true. Unrealalistic of me, but I would love Harvard to take some 3.5ish gpas because they need more high lsats... But loads of money at t14 would work too.

top 6 seem to be uneffected from what I can tell in terms of admission. plus with their endowment they are willing to give a little more just to keep the prestige. But i do think some t14s are gonna be lenient like UVA
