Finding the balance between school, fun, health, and volunteering is so damn hard.

They're definitely the two I drop first, but I'm trying to find a better balance. I'm just happy my idea of fun has changed quite a bit from what it was first year, lol.Alexandros wrote:I usually just dump the middle two.oopsu812 wrote:Finding the balance between school, fun, health, and volunteering is so damn hard.

Furreal. I've stopped trying to do much that won't go on my CV during the school year, just don't fucking have time and it's not worth it. I wish you luck in finding that balance.oopsu812 wrote:They're definitely the two I drop first, but I'm trying to find a better balance. Do we really need 3 recommendations like is that good practice? This thread has made me feel incredibly unprepared.
Second are LR MBT and weaken questions known to be hard? I almost always get the easy ones wrong and the hard ones correct. Maybe i am overthinking LR but any advice is welcome

No, only add a third if you think it will add something of value that won't be reflected in the other two.Lalalsat96 wrote:Do we really need 3 recommendations like is that good practice? This thread has made me feel incredibly unprepared.

Nothing more upsetting than passing out section 3 of a PT because you forgot to eat the last two days.
Mostly angry because what's my score?

At least it didn't happen during the real thing and then somehow the one you pass out on becomes your best section.chewinggum wrote:Nothing more upsetting than passing out section 3 of a PT because you forgot to eat the last two days.

So are most of you applying this fall after you get your score back?

Are you implying that it is disadvantageous for a splitter to apply early, or am I misinterpreting you? (not a splitter, but curious)

Splitters have a tremendous advantage applying as early as possible. Most apps are from thanksgiving to new years so you won't be bogged down and compared with all the 3.9/177s yet. My deprecation towards stanny is me preparing myself for denial

Also, why Stanny over YH (or every other T13)?

Clerkship numbers and it gives me 3 years to experience the West Coast and have really good employment in the East Coast still. Y is super far out of reach and H is crazy expensive (stanny isn't cheap either i know).Anon-e-miss wrote:What is your #2 choice?dj9i27 wrote:3/4 full ride, my bad I've used that a lot in Sept 2016 waiters.Anon-e-miss wrote:3/4 from Duke?dj9i27 wrote:Early splitter gets denial from stanny or maybe 3/4 at duke.Anon-e-miss wrote:So are most of you applying this fall after you get your score back?

Same. I hope to blanket the T13, but Berkeley is the school I'd be least likely to go to. I don't think I could turn down Stanford if I somehow got it thoughlittlelibertine wrote:Because CA, same reason I don't pray to Stanny. Considering I want to do criminal law in the midwest/east coast, I would roll with any T13 most likely. H/Columbia/NYU would be amazing but a named scholly would be unreal. Unfortunately, I'm trying to put the cart before the horse, and the horse hasn't even learned to walk yet.dj9i27 wrote:Clerkship numbers and it gives me 3 years to experience the West Coast and have really good employment in the East Coast still. I want CA, but I don't want to take the CA bar. The pass rate is ridiculously low.
