Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I just rediscovered start trek TNG.
It's kind of bitter sweet because I stopped watching at the same time I started studying for the LSAT because I used to watch it religiously with my ex but we broke up so I would have time to go to school work study for the lsat and build up my softs :c
I need this stupid score to come in already so I can be satisfied that it was all worth it.

Isn't this actually not good for us? If most of those released closer to their scheduled release dates were at points where the scheduled release period is much longer than 3 weeks, wouldn't that be bad for our administration since our release period is 4 weeks+ from our test day? I may be confusing my necessary and sufficient here, but I think that may be bad for us, unless there is a historical reference to June tests being released early, even when their release dates are 4 weeks+.buckiguy_sucks wrote:Hot damn that's some math I can get on board witholdercoldervoice wrote:Of 43 tests for which I have data, 25 were closer to the 21 day mark than they were to their scheduled release date. 10 were equidistant from each mark. Only 8 were closer to their scheduled release date than the 21 day mark, and these were mostly December administrations (where the scheduled release period is much longer than 3 weeks).jumbo2016 wrote:Can we do some sort of analysis on whether its usually been closer to the 21 day mark or to the projected date?

Also gonna drink whenever Cmdr. Riker flirts or is flirted with, and whenever they describe a theoretical astrophysics phenomenon with an over simplified analogy, i.e. "Just like pouring water through a pasta strainer"
I think I'm gonna get alcohol poisoning before the end of the hour.

yeah but her data set never had a june with over 4 week scheduled release. while the winter ones have and they release closer to their scheduled datewhacka wrote:i think ocvoices was saying that the scheduled release day is less important and less telling than just looking at how long since the test was administeredWhnlifegvsulmns wrote:Isn't this actually not good for us? I believe Wild Turkey makes a good rye whiskey...not a connoisseur so correct me if I'm wrong. But the distillery is in KY & part of the bourbon trailbenwyatt wrote:I like bourbon, but I prefer a rye whiskey.AbbeyS wrote:Seems to be a lot of bourbon lovers ITT!

there has only ever been one Sunday release, but it was last year, so I am still hoping.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Hmm. I can see where this is a little worrying. However, the correlation between administrations with long release schedules and releases that were closer to scheduled dates than the 21 day average is hardly 1:1; 3 of the 8 that were closer to the scheduled release weren't in December. What I meant to point out with the December release schedules is that LSAC usually gives themselves until well after New Years (usually a 30+ day release schedule). Because of the holiday situation, half of these scores get released well ahead of schedule (1-2 weeks), and half get released only moderately early (around the 3 day average). This brings me back to our situation. LSAC always wants to be able to say they released scores ahead of schedule; failing that, they never, ever want to be late. Because of the location of the holiday weekend, I think they pushed the scheduled release date back to ensure they won't possibly be late, and have a good chance of being quite early (like they do for December administrations).Whnlifegvsulmns wrote: Isn't this actually not good for us? A quick example to show that we're probably on the good side of things: last year, when the 4th was a Friday, the scheduled release was also July 7th (in this case a 28 day schedule) and the actual release was on the 1st. So I would be shocked if scores didn't come out sometime before the long weekend.
