Then the following week I figured I'd try again (after one day off), and I went down by 3 or 4 points each day, and stopped after day 3 when I scored a 163. Even though I didn't feel burnt out I assumed that was the oily explanation. That's why I take it easier now. But I would love to drill back to back day and day, (maybe not 6 days in a row again though, lol). Do you think I should try it more strenuously again?
Which tests were you taking? The eras matter.

Bolded and sized for narcissistic purposes.

And no, I barely got out of your bed this morning. Especially with the snow.

1. You guys are cute.

2. GT is not allowed to have a single unhappy moment this year what with that 99.9th.

OH THE SUPERTESTS! I haven't taken those!!!

Yes new material!

ETA: The one time that I scored a 178 I had just binge-watched "The Good Wife" the entire day before, after having studied every day for maybe two months.

Yeah, you were definitely burnt out. 6 days in a row is WAY too much, imo. PTs take a lot out of you, as you know. You probably needed more than one day off to recover from that. If you want to test your endurance, do two really intense days in a row (e.g., my signature consecutive 8 section back-to-back PT weekend extravaganza), and then take a rest day, followed by a day of light drilling and review. You should be ramping up the intensity in thresholds. Be strategic about it, use your rest periods, and hit it again as soon as you feel fresh.

Uuhhh say what now?
It is a universal truth that a woman in want of a private car will freeze to fucking death in February in New York.

Seriously, I had no idea just how cold winter really got until I moved here. Commuting in NYC is Dante's 9th circle of hell. He based it on his commute from Brooklyn to work in Manhattan every day.

seconded. February is definitely the most brutal month here. It regularly gets down to -22F.
Hey if we start counting windchill then I retract my 10 degrees F from before
