For this administration, I think average days after administration is more accurate. Our scheduled release day is unusually late, probably because LSAC wanted to put it on the other side of the holiday weekend to be safe. For reference, July 7th will be 29 days after our test; the average length of time before scheduled release date is 25.12, and historically ONLY December administrations have had scheduled release days which were more than 4 weeks after the test. The average for non-December administrations is only 23.27. So I think in this case the "days early" average is quite misleading.buckiguy_sucks wrote:We can discuss whether we think the average days before projected or average days after administration is more likely to be accurate

You can't run a regression analysis on a single set of variables.Petrichor wrote:are the values statistically significant?oldercoldervoice wrote:Keep asking more statistics questions so I can get to 100 posts

I need two sets of variables to do a regression analysis (at which point I could tell you things like the P value for the correlation)buckiguy_sucks wrote:(Got a C in Political Statistics aka the easiest kind of statistics)buckiguy_sucks wrote:WHAT IS YOUR P VALUE

Can we do some sort of analysis on whether its usually been closer to the 21 day mark or to the projected date?

I'm at my parent's house for the summer for an internship in my home city, have about 4 friends here, am not yet 21 (late birthday. I'm a rising senior), and only just got hired for a second job. I literally have nothing better to do.buckiguy_sucks wrote:

Of 43 tests for which I have data, 25 were closer to the 21 day mark than they were to their scheduled release date. 10 were equidistant from each mark. Only 8 were closer to their scheduled release date than the 21 day mark, and these were mostly December administrations (where the scheduled release period is much longer than 3 weeks).jumbo2016 wrote:Can we do some sort of analysis on whether its usually been closer to the 21 day mark or to the projected date?

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I really started to re-evaluate how boring my life has been this summer when I had to pick my parents up from dinner the other night because they were too drunk to drive home. That was a tipping pointbuckiguy_sucks wrote:I am at least 21. Live in a T20 metropolis that's having one of the most popular community festivals of the year, and am still laying in bed drinking tequila and eating cheez-its and posting on TLS so I promise that wasn't a post coming from a place of judgement
This is very good to know. Thank you. I have hope.oldercoldervoice wrote:Of 43 tests for which I have data, 25 were closer to the 21 day mark than they were to their scheduled release date. 10 were equidistant from each mark. Mathematical concepts mean nothing the LSAC honchos. They aspire to inflict mental anguish that exceeds Dante's 9th circle. Ahhhhbuckiguy_sucks wrote:What's the mean and median of days before projected releaseOskosh wrote:10 more days until LSAC's projected release score date.
