Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
last shot saturday. Just woke up (work night shift), booked a room for tomorrow night, and taking 75 today, its new and hoping to hit 172-174. Only thing scaring me is my incredibly inconsistent performance on RC. Got my LG by type to review some of the harder games just to get the gears turning and I'm ready to just kinda peruse tomorrow and plan on not doing much at all besides getting a good night's sleep. GL everyone.

Story sounds familar..didn't cancel though. Did better than I thought, still bad.Phoenix97 wrote:I fell asleep while mediating last night and trying to focus on the number 180. lmaoflash21 wrote:understandable, young lauryn.Phoenix97 wrote:I'm trying to resist the urge to study.flash21 wrote:From now till the day I'll be blind reviewing 75 I took today, doing write ups on wrong Q's and drilling sections.Phoenix97 wrote:So...now what?
What does everyone else plan on doing? I won't be taking Friday off. I work so I'll study before work a bit and call it a day for studying.
At this point, burn out would most likely offset any minimal gains I could incur from studying. Plus, I could lose confidence and psyche myself out if I find myself focusing on my mistakes.
Petrified of test day burnout. >.<
I feel like eating really healthy and meditation helped me mentally so much. I feel much more prepared for this take although my PT's were re-takes so I'm paranoid as hell about the true accuracy of them . I know they're a bit inflated but damn.
Today and tomorrow I'm going to do my best to on mental/emotional prep.
I sat for the October test and it was...horrific. I ended up losing track of time and only finishing half of the first section (which has NEVER happened to me during PTs, which I usually finished with time to spare). I ended up becoming so upset that I was literally incapable of continuing because tears kept blurring my vision...so I just cancelled and ran out. Worst experience of my life...but it was my fault for not preparing mentally.

haha well.. I am not a super strict lyricist when it comes to hip hop, I enjoy both club banger type stuff and more conscious too. I don't feel like "real hip hop" is necessarily only "To pimp a butterfly" type songs where they deal with social / political issues.Phoenix97 wrote:What is your definition of hip hop?flash21 wrote:any hip hop fans here?
I like Logic, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole , Kanye so I guess I'd define them as hip hop. I know drakes a bit more pop, but still

15x, before the test I was scoring around the lower 160s. I honestly thought I scored a 140 leaving the testing site.Phoenix97 wrote:I was too far gone emotionally to continue...I probably could have pulled myself together, but I most likely would have distracted other test takers at some point.AfrocentricAsian wrote:

How'd you end up doing, if you don't mind me asking?
