Update: Rescheduled the meeting, all good.
Also, with how hot it is in the South, I'm considering Cornell/Michigan more and more...

Ah makes sense. Leverage for money elsewhere is definitely a good point.Alexandros wrote:Yeah, Harvard is the thought.34iplaw wrote:What schools is a 175 better than a 173 for splitter wise? Harvard? Guh so PT 63:
LR1: 0
LG: 0
LR2: -4 LMFAO literally ran out of time, had to guess a question/kinda guess , this doesn't usually happen w/ LR.( Note to self not to leave questions blank next time jfc)
LR experimental: -2
RC: -3
Raw: 94
Scaled: 173 -_-
I've gotten -7/94 on the last 3 PTs. As evidenced by this one, that sometimes doesn't scale so nicely. Glad I managed to get a PT in today at least. Next hurdle will be morning PTs, and not! screwing! up! all! the! time!
On a bright note, I thought my laptop got stolen. Laptop did not get stolen. So that's good.
What made you think your laptop got stolen??![]()

It's just my target's a 175, (#splitterlife) so it would be nice to see scores actually within range.![]()
Thought I took it with me to the library, and I couldn't find it in my bag when I left, but I had left it at home, thank god.
I'd really like to have an over 50% chance there - not that I'm at all Harvard or bust, but it would satisfying to at least have a fair shot. (also, scholarships and stuff at other schools.)
As an aside, I just got asked to leave Starbucks. Stayed from 2PM to close.
Ithaca is typically frigid or really hot. It's rarely temperate.SweetTort wrote:Update: Rescheduled the meeting, all good.

I'm doing the 7 Sage More MBT and MBF Questions lesson. I usually answer the question on my own before watching the video.
Anyhow the LR question is about insects that reproduce and die for the first time or after the next generation has been secured. We're doing the answer choices and why each is wrong. JY goes "the goal of the insect species? why do we care? the goal of the insects could be to get the highest score on the LSAT."
I literally had to pause the video because I was laughing out loud so hard!!
Can you imagine insects taking the LSAT lmaoooo

Looking at Cornell a bit too. Rent is definitely more my speed than Manhattan, and it's pretty there.

TBH I need a place that gives good scholarships, and Cornell seems pretty consistent. UVA seems good on this front as well.

That's good to know. Haven't looked into that side of things too much yet, but that's definitely a priority.SweetTort wrote:Alexandros wrote:Yay!SweetTort wrote:Update: Rescheduled the meeting, all good.

Another copy of the Economist showed up. Going to try the memory method on them, or at least timed reading with LSAT style notation.

Not as much as I would like but im almost done and can be full-time studying again real soon. Monday night was the only day I got <1 hr in. The Grind is real but thats what its all about

I think I'm burnt out.. I couldn't think straight with RC yesterday, and went -10 on 2 LRs eachAlexandros wrote:7/27/2016 just ain't a good day for LR, MikeyTheMikey wrote:I got another -10 on an LR section

In the LR sections, I got a shit ton of the easier questions wrong.. And didn't even spot any of them in BR as wrong. I'm losing my touch, rip.

You're gonna have your off days prepping for this exam. That's what I've learned. I'm still concerned I shit the bed on 59 today and I'm doing my best to not go back into 7 sage and drill more..
I should maybe do my laundry and watch suits.

Your boy is disappointed.
Decided to take a few days off. Won't be PTing this weekend, instead, I'm pushing the PT to Tuesday. Nothing LSAT from now until then.
