Nah. Not in a rush to lose $175, plus I don't want to deal with the uploading photo BS right now.Binghamton1018 wrote: Have you registered yet?

I took a straight on selfie against a blank wall for my first take. Worked fine.

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
So June is looking iffy for me at the moment, because I have an internship lined up this summer where I will likely be on the other side of the country (from the Midwest to PNW or California, don't know yet) from May-August. I have yet to start prepping, but depending on how that goes I may see if I can find a testing center near my job, or just wait until September instead of going off half-cocked in an unfamiliar place. Thoughts?

Wouldn't you have less time to study during your internship though as opposed to this spring?JimmieWhisper wrote:So June is looking iffy for me at the moment, because I have an internship lined up this summer where I will likely be on the other side of the country (from the Midwest to PNW or California, don't know yet) from May-August. Yeah, I'm on the phone with them now to ensure that my photo is acceptable. I just uploaded a basic photo from my photo-booth on my laptop. They have a dozen or so "UNACCEPTABLE" photo-types that I was unable view until after I uploaded my photo. Things like "head too small," "shadow in background," "glare on glasses" among other things. The woman I spoke to said things looked "acceptable" to her. She then called me back as I was typing this to tell me that upon further review: my photo was not acceptable due to the fact that it wasn't against a "blank screen." She then transferred me to another representative that transferred me to a third representative because the option to "edit photo" is difficult to find. That representative then transferred me a third time back to the original representative that informed me that I had only one opportunity to change my photo. I told her that I would find a passport-like photo and call them back before Friday to get this all straightened out. Friends and fellow Juners: to make it easier, make sure your photo that you upload is passport-like, against a white screen if possible.
I have a selfie I took a few weeks ago and the background is white. I'll try using that when I register.

Just been plugging through The Trainer.
I'm admittedly not even half way into the book and only 16 chapters through, but I will share my thoughts.
As many have said, the LR section makes the book worth it for most. I greatly prefer the ideas and methodologies presented by The Trainer for LR when compared PowerScore.
As for LG (which I've just began), the book really stresses clean diagramming. The Trainer also features some pretty challenging drills that deal with contrapositives as well as "how many of each can you have".
Glad to have some fellow overachievers to share with!

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
Guess it's time to prepare. I was going to take the LSAT last June but decided on this June instead since I'm not applying until fall of 2016. Last time I focused mostly on LR and my range was around 42-46/50. So right now I'll focus on LG and if I can consistently get it to where I'm getting 20/22+ my minimum LSAT score should be around 166.
21 Days until the winter semester begins. Aiming for 6 hours a day on LSAT preparation. (90% on LG)
Good way to spend the holidays
