What I found weird about my test center was the fact that I was the only person out of 9 that had an analog watch with them.

Let's be honest, if you got more than 5 wrong, you're looking at a 140, at best.ws81086n wrote:Hell, why don't we go for a cool -3 while we're at it?TERS wrote:lol. -6 man. hehe

Re: Feb Waiters (ATTENTION: Discuss LSAT Qs → BANNED)
Meh. I was hoping for a 180. I'll probably re-write in June. 3 of my last 5 PTs were 180s, so I'm a bit bummed that I missed it on the real deal.SicSemper wrote:Congrats! If your estimation is accurate, then regardless of the curve you're golden. My range is even wider (I want to be prepared for both *extremely* pessimistic and optimistic scenarios).CristopherG wrote:Same... I figure I'm anywhere from -3 to -8 as best I can figure, which is a huge range of possible scores.SicSemper wrote:Yes.ws81086n wrote:Anyone else having a hard time getting this test off their mind? Eventually I'll settle down, but I haven't had much success in doing so yet.
I keep going over different scenarios in my head. Like, "The most I could've gotten wrong in that last section was X, and the least is Y, but then again regardless of how I felt based on my practice tests I should assume I got about Z wrong on that section..." and then I do the math on every possible scenario to figure out what my raw score would be in the very best and the very worst case, and then look at the average and the range, and then calculate what those raw scores would translate to with different curves...

Same, I was in a room with 30 people and maybe 5 had watches. Meanwhile I was all-out nerding it with one of these.finnandjake2 wrote:What I found weird about my test center was the fact that I was the only person out of 9 that had an analog watch with them.

Proctor inspecting my bag: Cool watch! How much it set you back?
Me: It was a gift.
Proctor: Nice gift. Take a seat on the second row.
Me: Thank you LSAT gods.

Pretty good. They usually estimate 2-4 days longer than it really takes. However, the delayed tests may impact that. So all bets are off.jvsj wrote:what are the chances that scores will be released before march 6?

Seems to make sense that they would release the non-cancelled scores before the cancelled scores, right? So that would mean no delay, or earlier than expected. Perhaps not I guess

If one more god-damn person asks me how I think I did, I'm going to rip someone's head off.
I don't know how I did! 23 days until I will know! I think I did well, but I could have missed some. I DON'T KNOW. People who haven't prepped hundreds of hours for this test just don't seem to get the stress at all.

How do you think you did? Can you give us a range for your raw score? Probability distribution over that range?

So those who write the deferred exam will receive scores by the stated email date, apparently. So we should all receive them around the same time. Which asks the question: If they can get the scores that fast, why not have a shorter period for all exams? Especially if you consider the considerable drop in the number of test takers--it should take less time to do all the scantron/scanning/uploading/etc.

Also, I don't know how I am going to wait several weeks for my score. I'm dying right now
They should really use computer testing centers and use instant scoring (at least a range initially). I think the GRE gives you a range, right?
I agree.princeR wrote:Now its starting to sink in that I wont actually get to see my test... There's a couple of questions I would really love to know the answer to right away.

GRE gives you your actual score on the spot. I have no idea how I'm going to wait this long either.eav1277 wrote:II agree.princeR wrote:Now its starting to sink in that I wont actually get to see my test... There's a couple of questions I would really love to know the answer to right away.
