Anyone else having a hard time getting this test off their mind? Eventually I'll settle down, but I haven't had much success in doing so yet.

Yes.

I keep going over different scenarios in my head. Like, "The most I could've gotten wrong in that last section was X, and the least is Y, but then again regardless of how I felt based on my practice tests I should assume I got about Z wrong on that section..." and then I do the math on every possible scenario to figure out what my raw score would be in the very best and the very worst case, and then look at the average and the range, and then calculate what those raw scores would translate to with different curves...

Same... I figure I'm anywhere from -3 to -8 as best I can figure, which is a huge range of possible scores.

Congrats! If your estimation is accurate, then regardless of the curve you're golden. My range is even wider (I want to be prepared for both *extremely* pessimistic and optimistic scenarios).

Meh. I was hoping for a 180. I'll probably re-write in June. 3 of my last 5 PTs were 180s, so I'm a bit bummed that I missed it on the real deal.

Pretty good. They usually estimate 2-4 days longer than it really takes. However, the delayed tests may impact that. So all bets are off.

Seems to make sense that they would release the non-cancelled scores before the cancelled scores, right? So that would mean no delay, or earlier than expected. Perhaps not I guess

I don't know how I did! 23 days until I will know! I think I did well, but I could have missed some. I DON'T KNOW. People who haven't prepped hundreds of hours for this test just don't seem to get the stress at all.

So those who write the deferred exam will receive scores by the stated email date, apparently. So we should all receive them around the same time. Which asks the question: If they can get the scores that fast, why not have a shorter period for all exams? Especially if you consider the considerable drop in the number of test takers--it should take less time to do all the scantron/scanning/uploading/etc.

GRE gives you your actual score on the spot. I have no idea how I'm going to wait this long either.
