Let me know if they are worth buying. I'm looking for new headphones for working out - if I ever start working out again #foreverlazy

Also, did about 6 games and 1 RC so far today. RC is always hit or miss for me. I either find it really easy and get all the questions or I just can't keep track of all the information and I get half the questions wrong.

will do... I almost decided I didnt need them but the cord is just so annoying when working out so really hoping they live up to expectations... theres a bunch of cheaper 30-40 pairs that have decent reviews but if I buy electronics I enjoy spending the little extra for peace of mind, shoulda just tried the cheaper rando brand ones oh well

not a bad start to your day, keep it up

I should do some games and maybe even redo PT74 (or take another PT) to see if February is feasible.
The thought of dragging this out until June (and potentially October) is annoying.

You had a month off right? It was probably a nice break and I doubt you will need the 6 months until June to hit 172. I just wish there was a test in March to make them more spaced out.

Omg, Sfogs. Burst out laughing reading this. I'll try this too. Study buddiez!

Also, retaking at Brooklyn College for a second time was dumb. I am stoopids. Take it in June with meeeee!! We can sharpen each other's black ticons while we wait to be checked in.
OMG it would be so fun to have an LSAT friend to warm up with and chat and whatever before sitting.

What happened this time? Another unexpected trip to the sauna? Do tell.

I saw no black ticon's, sadly. I DID, however, see tricons. But meh. It was in the same room we were in. Trip to the sauna, indeed. First it was cold af. Then it got really hot because they closed the doors. It was terrible. Never again.

Also one girl got up and left 30 seconds into the first section. That definitely got to me when it shouldn't have.

I think I'm going to take it in Queens, since the commute won't be so terrible given that it's an afternoon test in June.

How is your prep coming along, fogs? Have you just started up?

Like what's up? What do you find difficult? I'm sure you've mentioned earlier but I have no desire to sift through the hundred some-odd pages of this thread.
Just everything. I just don't get it. Like at first games were difficult because I couldn't mentally keep track of how all the inferences worked together and I couldn't finish in time, but now I'm over that. LR was difficult at first because I usually had too many really hard questions that I didn't understand that totally ruined my time (weaken, assumption, flaw), and I wasn't mentally recording the argument in my head when I would go through the stimulus, thus causing me to go back, but I'm over the latter and the I'm doing a lot better with the former, but RC is just impossible to me. Like I finish in time, that's not necessarily the problem. But I have trouble with either a) sometimes I just don't understand passages, whether it's fatigue or because the passage is particularly difficult, but when these passages happen I just can't do it and get so many questions wrong just from one passage. Or b) sometimes I choose an answer I think is right and it just turns out to be wrong (usually with point of view) which I am getting better at identifying, but it's just hard and i hate it. But I'm 3/4 way through PT 52 now and my last section is RC. I'll check back in before BR in like 35 minutes.
Have you tried Manhattan RC or The Trainer? I found those two helpful.

Re: trouble understanding passages, is it the dense writing? Technical vocabulary? Do you fair better on humanities vs. law or science? Any better with comparative passages?

Ugh, we need to make a plan for June. 5 months is a long time (I better 180).
I'm trying to get a plan down myself.

Shaka's got some good advice.
Glad you're finding it helpful! I don't think Rigo needs my advice though. He's a LOLSAT sage.

Any skill, such as LR, LG, RC, and fapping, is best honed through consistent perfect practice. LG has tricks (diagramming) and LR has tricks (rules), but RC has no tricks. It's all about practice. Read similar stuff, like philosophy papers or reputable journal articles. TLS wisdom is The Economist, and for me, that worked quite well. Get used to reading dense material. Take it slow at first, read for thorough comprehension. Ask yourself questions. ETA - About the passage. Quiz yourself.

Find a tough RC passage, and become familiar with it. Spend some time on google. Now talk to your friends about what you learned from that passage. One cool thing about RC is it's not made up shit, at most it's outdated. You can learn things from RC.

LG and LR are short-term relationships, they don't take much work. But you have to carefully woo RC. Take her out to dinner, buy her flowers. Take your time.
Hahaha I love this. This is great advice, actually.

Don't make my mistake. You probably won't start studying until mid May, anyway. Might as well get it out of the way.

Also there was some FB friending in the dec thread and in the frenzy I friended you too, in case you were wondering who that rando was. But it's ok if you don't add me I'll just be in my room. Just so you know, there's a fan in here that sounds like someone crying.
