Might sound cliché, Wolf.Rhymes With Wolf wrote:I'm going to write about how my childhood fear of bats set off a chain of events that led to my parent's murder and my subsequent committal to vigilante justice. I'll end with a why law statement about how a single vigilante is inadequate for effecting lasting change, and how I've come to realize through my escapades that, if I ever want to achieve that, I need to pursue justice from within the confines of the existent legal system.

Okay, fine, then I'll write about how I grew up as part of a society that volunteers their young to the state in a ritual of institutionalized bloodshed intended to deter rebellion and produce docility. I'll talk about how I won and used my new-found clout to incite a revolution.Shakawkaw wrote:Might sound cliché, Wolf.

ETA: I misread that. No, I don't really have a why law school statement
Agreed. It can be really awkward if done as an afterthought. My essay was based on life experiences/work that sparked my interest in PI so it was a little easier to include, I think.Dirigo wrote:I'm not. There is no right answer to this. It depends on the flow of your essay. I don't think adding in why law at the end as some sort of afterthought is a good move.hillz wrote:I did.
