You should really get on this. Professors are usually just busy, not lazy. And with so many things in the TO-DO queue, it doesn't take long to forget about something that's been buried.

Just give him/her a reminder and a tactfully worded sense of urgency, and they will likely be happy to expedite the writing of your letter.

Done it already. But no response. What irks me is that she actually offered to write me one in the first place.

I'm having a similar problem with one of mine. Just ~~find~~ make up reasons to drop hints. For example, I emailed mine to "make sure he got the instructions from LSAC on how to submit an electronic LOR."

Did you also hit your head on the staircase as a result of slipping on the patch of ice? If so, I think you might want to reconsider your relationship with ice.

Me too. I always thought PMT must be hot as hell and this figure skating business has got me all curious.

The sad thing is, I've nagged three professors to do recs in a relatively short time period and they all did their part within the deadline I gave. Me, on the other hand..... well, I'm still stuck on my first app being lazy af. PS and DS done though for all that's worth.
