No.. I just finished undergrad, so being hunched over a desk is still my default position. My back will start to hurt after a lot of hours at the desk though. To minimize the effects of any backache or potential headache, I always take two aspirin/Tylenol/Aleve before starting a PT.ManoftheHour wrote:Anyone else having neck problems? I just stretch before. Though I stretch my neck, sometimes my back as well, and loud cracks ensue, before starting each section. Though some of the chairs at my test center will not permit the twists I normally do when stretching my back.ManoftheHour wrote:Anyone else having neck problems? Chrome works fine for me...Ixiion wrote:Just a heads up. I remember a couple others who were asking about why their tickets were blank on info. I called LSAC today-- they said its a browser issue. Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
I can probably only describe it since my computer is elsewhere, which is a product of the afore mentioned fiery hell of moving that I'm currently in. I just do some arm stretches, the same ones I and most others do before playing basketball, then I sit down in a chair with armrests, I grab the right armrest with my left hand, grab the left side of the back of the seat with my right hand and basically twist so that I'm looking in the direction of the rear of the chair. I then do the same with the other side. As far as neck stretches go, I just lean my head very far to different sides, sometimes I use my hands, during those times it may appear as if I'm attempting suicide or paralysis via neck break, however I know my limits, and that never happens.sublime wrote:Daily_Double wrote:I just stretch before. Can you describe or link something that shows your typical stretches?

Oh god... did anyone do the (fake) logic games from the ACE lsat book recommended in TLS1776's guide?.... some of those games were brutal -- especially the last game from the 14th section...... ahhh so brutal it hurts....

I've been redoing PTs for close to a month now. As long as you have clear reasons for making eliminations, it's a valuable use of study time.

Is TLS still the best source for finding out what the entering class for a law school scored on lsat and their gpa?

so do you erase your previous marks and take it again? or is it going over tricky problems?

I just drilled Necessary assumptions, Strengthen, Main conclusion, and Point, and Parallel reasoning. all level 3's and 4's from PT's 1-25, and I have to say i bombed most of them. I can't figure out these early PT questions, when I go into newer PT's these questions are not a problem, but these old tests really fuck with my confidence.

Anyone know where there's a listing of difficult LR Qs by question type for PTs 40+? I'm almost done going through the Cambridge packets, but don't want to have to redo 28 PTs just to find the tricky LR Qs.

Hmm, that may be as close as I get, unless someone knows of a listing of just LR Qs by type from 40+. Don't think I'll be coughing up $95 this late in the game though. =\sublime wrote:TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Anyone know where there's a listing of difficult LR Qs by question type for PTs 40+? Cambridge did not do it for this one http://www.amazon.com/LSAT-Logical-Reas ... ng+by+type
so it may not have been done.

Thanks. I guess the what I should say that it is more important now to get through the two easiest games as quickly as possible, not necessarily the first two.the_pakalypse wrote:Congrats on the 180. I think you are spot on with the observation about LG btw. The only recent exception I can think of is 62 (w/ stained glass which was the second), but I think in that situation you have to identify that is the tough game and understand that the other remaining two games will be fairly straightforward (which they were).SteelPenguin wrote:Just finished PT 65, absolutely crushed it!
180! 99/101
LR: -0
LG: -0 (again, importance of finishing first two quickly seems to be very important in newer tests)
LR: -0
RC: -2 (last paragraph was a killer)

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
Fuck, just took the September 2009 test.
Got 4 wrong on every section but the last LR which was 3 wrong.
Ended up with a 167....
I took it at the UMich law reading room and it was oppressively hot in there. I should have just stopped and relocated, but I didn't want to once I had begun. That probably didn't have as much of an impact as I would like to make it seem, but dripping sweat throughout the test was probably sub-optimal.
If I ended up with a 167 on the test, I know my life wouldn't really be over. I'd probably end up at WashU or George Washington or something. I just really, desperately want to make it to a T14 school. I don't want this to be added to the long list of things in my life that I did sort of well on.
I'll take another one tomorrow in the comfort of my own home, making sure I've had a nice cup of coffee. Then I'll have the testmasters proctored test on Saturday which will really tell us exactly where I'm at.
