Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I have like ten people at my house for board games and beer. How rude is it if I have my phone out all night constantly refreshing

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Test companies do not get a heads up from LSAC. The overwhelming majority of people who work at LSAC do not get a heads up from LSAC. But you could see where a test company might be interested in saying a guess based on historical averages of 21 days after June 8th and state like they know it. If they are wrong people would just keep guessing their own dates and if right they would get a nice, cheap internet buzz...(not saying they did that, I'm just saying LSAC wouldn't tell test companies)Seamus887 wrote:So would test companies legit get a heads up? Is this a plausible story? Should I start to flip?
I don't know either (and man have I tried). Most people at LSAC do not know. Everyone is just guessing, fwiw. Next week certainly seems like a very high probability but if someone not named Pete Paschley says it they are just stabbing at that date.

Mike, talk to us about these games without breaking the rules. Standard, or not? Curve breaking games?! Share your wisdom, damnit.MikeSpivey wrote:Test companies do not get a heads up from LSAC. Yup. June 2005, June 2007, and February 2010 were released on Saturdays. February 2014 was released on a Sunday.drtamale wrote:Are scores ever released on the weekend ?

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I am really hoping this is true because for the first time ever, when I encountered a completely unusual game type I didn't buckle and fuck it up. I really think I kind of got it and really only struggled on the very last question because of time, so I'm hoping everyone complaining on here (where there is a disproportionately large number of high scorers) means that they're definitely will be a higher curve, one ill really benefit from.zacboro wrote:
It was a rare game and it was at the end of the entire test... If you managed to do well then kudfuckingdos but I still stand by and say the curve will be generous because of it

I think it would be more than highly unlikely they have a leak. But not outside the realm of possibility, of course. But I have seen this buzz like 16 times before and no one ever seems to really know when the dust clears.buckiguy_sucks wrote:Didn't you get a leak in Sept? Okay, I need to get back to important stuff like watching America's Got Talent with my small tribe. Here's hoping for Monday.
