Eggs make me nauseous and oatmeal gives me brain fog, so I can relate. I drink a smoothie for breakfast & eat usually whatever is leftover from dinner the night before. Whenever I PT, I eat avocado on toast or peanut butter banana chia pudding for breakfast.ChoboPie wrote:Real talk: What do you guys do for breakfast when you want to be pretty loaded up for the rest of the day? I can't stomach eggs + oatmeal + bacon ... especially the eggs, urgh I hate eggs. But eating kimchi and rice for breakfast just feels weird, and doesn't feel as strong as say, eggs + steak.TheProdigal wrote:Yes, back to food and gym talk!TheWalkingDebt wrote:after relaxing from day 2 of stepping up my gym game to get fit and shed the billion pounds of whiskey weight.
Also, for dinner: lots of people advocate spaghetti for dinner to load up on carbs + feel good the next day. Thoughts/alternatives/wtfchobo?

Maybe oatmeal with fruit and yogurt?
Seriously agree. How do y'all not eat eggs? I'm pretty sure God was like "Earth, skies, eggs" in that order or something.

Whoa that sounds intense, gonna check it out. Never heard of chia seeds and bee pollen as additions to food.TheWalkingDebt wrote: Organic peanut butter on toast with 2 eggs, bee pollen, chia seeds. Protein keeps you fuller longer through the day. Peanut butter is filled with protein.
Also, to the game comments: I have a moment or two here and there.
@Pepper: No way, same thing with eggs for me! I have to force feed it to myself and just tell myself it's healthy... Avacado toast and PB banana pudding sounds delicious though o_O. And I used to think it didn't get better than Shin ramen 3 times a day

Bee pollen adds some sweetness and helps with a variety of things (as well as helps with seasonal allergies to local pollen depending on where your bee pollen comes from). Chia seeds are great for Omega-3's also.ChoboPie wrote:Whoa that sounds intense, gonna check it out. Dude I dunno, it's weird. Like, I'm ok with hard boiled eggs, but when that shit is over-easy/sunny side up/any other way besides hard boiled, I get really disgusted. I physically cannot eat a full non-hard boiled egg without gagging. Fruit is good, can't do yogurt or dairies... though I'm willing to go through the pain for ice cream...TheWalkingDebt wrote:WhiskeyAndCupcakes wrote:Chobo, the only breakfast food I love and trust is breakfast tacos. I can eat eggs if they're mixed into stuff, like cake and brownies and stuff. But for some reason, scrambled eggs and omelets make me really queasy & I legit get dizzy. Idk why.TheWalkingDebt wrote:Seriously agree. How do y'all not eat eggs? PB banana chia pudding is addictive, you'll start craving it b/c it's so delicious and chia has such a cool texture when it's hydratedChoboPie wrote:@Pepper: No way, same thing with eggs for me. ETA- okay Chobo, are we the same person? I can't eat yogurt either (well, not most commercial yogurts, I can eat my mom's homemade yogurt just fine). Idk if you're near a Whole Foods, but try goat milk yogurt. Your stomach might be able to handle it
