You can't discuss the questions here because they're LSAC's intellectual property and LSAC says you can't discuss them. And if you do discuss them here LSAC gets mad at TLS. We would rather not have to deal with that. Also, you can't use this forum to arrange to discuss the questions anywhere.nervousfirsttimer wrote:What is the reason that we cant discuss question specifics on here? Are there some people who haven't taken the test yet? Is there a place where we can discuss this?

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
So is the general consensus that most people thought LG was tricky, RC was hard for some & that one LR section was easier than the other?
I'm trying to decide how I feel about my performance based on that. I know that sounds silly, but it makes sense to me lol

Does anyone who had a non-exp LR test remember a section that started with an MOD EDIT: STOP TALKING ABOUT THE KINDS OF QUESTIONS PEOPLE as #1? Does anyone with exp LR remember this? I'm trying to figure out if this was my experimental.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Seriously, people, STOP TALKING ABOUT WHAT KINDS OF QUESTIONS YOU HAD, or I'll lock this thread. Read the rules linked in the first post of this thread. You are not allowed to talk about what kind of questions you had (diagrams required/logical principles implicated etc.). These are LSAC's rules and LSAC comes down on TLS if you disobey. Stop.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I'm 99% sure this didn't happen, but got to thinking about how terrible it would be. Has anyone ever heard of someone (or themselves) mis-bubling a section that completely tanked their score?
LSAC should offer some way to cancel the score if this is the case...

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
First, it doesn't really matter whether you think something is okay - we have to go by LSAC's rules.drtamale wrote:not sure why its ok to discuss questions in some forms but not others on this message board.
Second, the only thing you can discuss is section ("I had a LR question") and topic ("about dolphins"). You cannot say what kind of question it was ("necessary/sufficient" or "circular game" or the like) and you cannot say what answer you put (even to the extent of "my first LR had 5 Ds in a row!"). That's consistent across all kinds of questions that appear on the test. Presumably it's because 1) LSAC doesn't want anyone who takes the test later to have any possible advantage from earlier discussions of the test and 2) it's LSAC's intellectual property and they want to control where it ends up.
If by chance I've missed where someone said something like "a parallel reasoning question," that's an oversight on my part, not an indication that it's okay to talk about that specific kind of question.

Does anyone who had LR-RC-LR-LR-LG remember which section was the 26 question one. I understand some of you had 25-25-25, but for those who had 26, which was it? Also, do you remember any questions on this 26er?zacboro wrote:Happy waiting!
BEFORE PARTICIPATING ITT PLEASE READ TLS' POST ON RULES HERE.
Confirmed sections:
LG - Salary, Trees being planted in lots, Magazine slots & features
RC - Glass, videos in ethnography, morals & Immanuel Kant, judge's bias
LR - both sections had 25 questions.

Long time lurker first time poster.
I feel like I'm crazy reading through this thread. Thought both LR sections were easy and had no problems with LG whatsoever. But I thought RC was BRUTAL. Got to the questions from the last passage about glass and couldn't figure out some of the answers for the life of me. RC is always my hardest section (especially with the increasing difficulty levels of the most recent tests...) but I really struggled this time. Anyone else out there feel this way?! Anyone?!

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Did anyone have any weird situations happen in their center?
I had two guys who seemed totally clueless on how to fill out their answer key scantron, and follow the other administrative processes. They must have raised their hands between them, 6 times. Where information goes, bubbling, and the like...
One of them got warned for not putting his pencil down when the time was up.
One of them subsequently needed their booklet back after they had turned it in because they forgot to sign it. THEN he said he forgot to write his booklet number on the scantron too.
I wondered how they can make it to that point, with that type of confusion.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Also, did anyone else's center not even have a clock? I was SO HAPPY I picked up an analog watch. Many people were talking about how the lack of clock in the room really threw them off. All they would have had to bank on was the 5 minute warning he gave...
