Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
I called this pages back. There's no way that we all took one identical test. Substantively, we might have had the same test (or a very similar test) but there were definitely variations. I just wonder whether his stages game was pretty much the same as your rug game.[/quote]
I don't see this being possible. What are they going to release two pt 74s? Really?

Ya maybe I missed something but I didn't find RC particularly difficultliterarylawyer wrote:And that's exactly how I felt when I lurked through all 16 pages and saw your post.koala-fy wrote:I had the same test and all of this was TOTALLY me. Especially the praying for it to be experimental only to find that last LR waiting for me. Such a let downliterarylawyer wrote: LG - DEATH. Sped through the first two, which were fine, but then skipped to the fourth b/c it had 8 questions....didn't finish the 4th or the 3rd. SO frustrated.
Essentially finished LG, thinking "THAT WAS EXPERIMENTAL" over and over again...until I reached LR3 and all my hopes withered away...
Also...a pretty unabashed loathing for anyone who said LG was easy...but I take some of it back, because a lot of the "LG - easy" people said RC was hard. So maybe it's a strengths & weaknesses trade-off.

Alright then, is there anyone with anecdotal stories of not being completely fucked from guessing? The four I had to guess one, on top of not feeling completely there today, really concern me.

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
Are there any schools that are known for generous scholarships in the top 50? I'm a splitter (3.3, 170) so obviously not looking at a full ride, but if I could get Georgia or Florida down near the in state tuition I would be very happy (I'm not sure which one I'm a resident of). If there are any other schools that are known for scholarships then I should probably apply to those as well. I was hoping to raise my score this test, but after bombing the games there's no chance.IsThisForReal wrote:I'm feeling the same way. But like 50, cus that's what makes the most sense for me.Dirigo wrote: Part of me just wants a full ride at a decent top 40.
I took a practice test and completely guessed on an entire game and got all of them right. I did random blank filling on the preptest where I got them all right, while on the test today I just filled all in the same answer because I was so frustrated. Guessing on 4 isn't a huge deal either way I don't think. Obviously it's not good that it happened, but it won't tremendously affect your score. I think -4 is still like a 178, right? The most it could possibly change your score would be by 4 points, but more likely it would be by 1-3. I wouldn't worry about it. Also, don't hate yourself. I had someone highlighting in my room too.Dirigo wrote:Does anybody on TLS actually use highlighters? It's so bizarre that someone would actually take the time to highlight rather than notate with pencil.santoki wrote:"when are we allowed to use our highlighters?" -someone in my room

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
Hi, guys. New here.
So, the consensus is that LR3 was experimental?
My test went:
LR
LG
LR
RC
LR
I am panicked, as by the time LR3 rolled around, I was tired and moving slower than I usually do. I guessed on about 5/6 questions completely. This surely cannot be good.
Any moral support/feedback is appreciated

Sorry to burst your bubble, as mine was, but looks like LR3 is not the experimental one.floridabound wrote:Hi, guys. New here.

man if I seriously bombed games (for sure this got bombed), RC AND this hard LR I legitimately may have gotten a 150.

I had the same exact version. Found LR1 to be more difficult than the other two

Checking in
Disappointed with the games, like a lot of people here.
Had a tough time with the rug game and guessed on most of game 4.
RC wasn't too bad and a few challenging LR questions in my second section (melatonin, purple/glass)

In one LR, i ended up marking 10 As, something tells me that whole section was off, but i couldn't figure out what other answers worked well with any of those choices i saw.
