Also, can I just say that I hate that I am now posting ITT. Was hoping to never lay eyes on the February test.

in short, Dec thread was supposed to be a fitness thread bc LSAT making us fat, but we moved hereBig Red wrote:Wait you guys are like going on a diet?

Heh I think not drinking for a month is more than enough. I am going to try to start lifting consistently again though

I have been running for half an hour a day, and also trying meditation for the past few weeks though. We'll see if it helps on the test.

Haha I can't say I gave up drinking either - not even close. I guess I just fall straight in the category of "LSAT makes me fat."Big Red wrote:Heh I think not drinking for a month is more than enough. I am going to try to start lifting consistently again though
ETA: I appreciate the good intentions/inspiration. Maybe I'll make an effort this go round and see if it helps ... starting tomorrow, of course!

I practically got a gym in my basementzacboro wrote:There's also a lot of studies and research that show that at least a half hour of physical exercise a day can improve short term memory, alertness, and focus. I wanna do it but I HATE going outside in the cold. And there's no way for me to exercise in my own home.

Theres a RC guide that someone from 7sage was sending around. If you want, I can send it to you. Also have you tried Voyagers RC guide from TLS - something to look at.zacboro wrote:Guys, I really don't know what to do about RC. My scores have consistently stayed in the -6 area for the past three weeks. I just started BRing a week ago, but even my BR scores are only in the -4 range. I'm freaking out. I need help but I really don't know what to do.
ETA: I'm considering not even reviewing my second RC section because practically the whole time I was guessing and even if I blind review it's just gonna take me hours... I don't see a benefit in doing any more RC until I get some kind of new strategy.

Pepper, what is this yoga you speak of and could I have some? Actually though, I've been seriously thinking about trying it...peppermint wrote:I take fish oil toozacboro wrote:I haven't drank since November 1st. I don't know if its making a difference or not. I hope so. I guess we'll see in February... I also started taking a multivitamin and fish oil. Their costs only equal out to about 5 cents per day so even if they don't help at all I won't be too mad, might as well try it I figure!Mine's super gross though, it's the fermented kind
ETA- Zac, if it's too cold to exercise, just do some yoga or even something simple like jumping jacks at home. Any kind of exercise is better than nothing. If you're interested in yoga (great for the brain btw!) but don't know where to start, pm me. I can send you some stuff.
