My test is apparently being given in "Lecture Hall"...

Either Binghamton blows at naming buildings, or finding this is going to be a nightmare.

There's this building... near woods... that is just like 2 big lecture halls there. I didn't go there, I just remember it...

I'm sure this was incredibly helpful to you.

Weathercoins, how do you know you're in the basement? And how can you be so sure about the room? I ask because LSAC doesn't disclose the room of the test center one is assigned to until the day of, based upon my conversations with them. So unless your ticket says you are in a specific building, and the only floor of which that contains classes is the basement, and the rooms in the basement contain only those chairs, I don't see how you can be so certain.

DD, my admission ticket says "Report to: Armory Building Rm 0126." Could mean they are going to send me somewhere else.

I see. Well that doesn't necessarily mean anything about the rooms. The ticket directs you to a place where you receive further instructions about which room you will be testing in. I would check out some of the other rooms in the building in addition to the basement, however it couldn't hurt to PT in the basement as a worst case scenario.

Hopefully that's not the room you end up taking your test, but you might want to do a PT there if possible. Is there any way you can voice concerns to Lsat before test day? It couldn't hurt to request a better environment, could it?

I have a question for everyone, especially those who have already taken the test:

TLS suggests visiting your testing center, and/or practicing in it, a few days before the test. I'm registered to take it in UVA. How do I know what room it's in? The instructions on the ticket say that you'll be given a location to meet up, and from there you'll be directed to a specific building/room. So. When people are suggesting that, do they just mean any room in the area, since they're likely to be similar? Or does the ticket actually specify which room (doesn't seem like it would, but right now it's just blank)? Or do you just... ask someone there at the University what room it'll be in?

The university is pretty big, don't imagine I'd even know what section of the university it'd be in, let alone what building -- let alone what room!

I took mine (and am retaking) at UMD. Unfortunately, rooms are often locked on weekends, so never could PT in the building. Exact room was determined based on last name at arrival. Just find a classroom to PT in, and do it there... try a large and small classroom just in case the room is changed.

That's almost identical to where I took mine 2 years ago, at the same University as I am this time!

That's ridiculous. Why would they downgrade a facility? The place where I'm taking my lsat had a band play during their June 09 LSAT, but it appears that they've resolved that and now test in the newest lecture halls, away from the fields.

Well, I'm not quite sure what the hell happened on LR1. I missed 10, 13, 15, and 24. LR has been deserting me lately. I didn't even have these down to 50/50s, I just whiffed, and on some pretty easy questions. The overall result is pretty solid, but I need to get back to the basics in my drilling... I don't know how the heck I pulled the -0 on RC. I rarely do that, and this section I was just gassed and wanting to go home.

On another note, how does everyone deal with neck strain? The whole side of my neck has been stiff and it creates some pretty wicked headaches.

Pretty much. I played video games my entire life & now my job is comp coding so I'm hunched over a desk 24/7 as is. I think my body's accepted it as my natural state.
