edit: well apparently the first LR section was only 2/5 difficulty on 7Sage so maybe I need to warm up more hehe. whatever, I guess we'll see when I actually score it.

Some guy's subscription has been coming to my mailbox. I feel a bit bad since they're not mine, but I'm not complaining.SweetTort wrote:TheMikey wrote:Are you subscribed to them?SweetTort wrote:So, I sincerely recommend trying out the 7sage Memory Method on Economist articles. yeah I usually just relax on the computer, listen to music, and BR so it feels a bit more relaxing.Alexandros wrote:Same here. In a complete fog. Major props to people who are actually able to go right from a PT to BR. Great idea using those for the memory method - I'll try that.

They probably use the online version, so win-win!
Idk how people do it, it's exhausting! I can only BR in the same day if I do like 1 or 2 sections and THAT'S IT. A whole PT is just crayy bruhAlexandros wrote: Major props to people who are actually able to go right from a PT to BR. Man...
Why not use the LG from the 40s as timed sections, as in do them as timed sections. Make a fresh/extra copy of all the LG though (unless you have them in PDF), and use the more recent tests for PT's.Alexandros wrote:So in light of the recent LG disaster(s) - my new plan is taking practice PTs from the 40s, where I've seen the LR but not the LG, with LG at the very end. Might do 6 sections, we'll see. Obviously not the most ideal, because it takes much more mental energy to get through an unfamiliar LR than a familiar LR, but it's the best I can think of, and I'm not really sure where else to go from here.
Suggestions, anymore?
Yah. I only BR immediately if its an LR drill from Cambridge. Even with RC when I was reviewing, I took a break (usually lunch lol) and then went at it.TheMikey wrote:Idk how people do it, it's exhausting! Being biased about your preconceived notions isn't even the biggest issue imo. The biggest issue is that the person will be tired, and might not do such a thorough review as they should because they feel like getting it over with. I used to do this back when I first did PTs a while ago, and it's definitely not the way to go. Unless of course, the person is a maniac and never feels fatigue, haha.ngogirl12 wrote:Yah. I don't know I think it's better to wait until the next day, so you won't be biased by your preconceived notions following a PT.
