actually I guess the autopilot response is to go into full cynic mode when people give a rationale like this. The specific issue of SSM aside, I don't know if it's such a bad thing that people feel a desire to go to LS because of a specific social cause or experience that they have been intimately involved in or impacted by. I think where people go wrong is assuming that this desire will translate most definitely into legal work that helps remedy these issues. you're much more likely to be doing transactional work than you are fighting in the halls of justice on behalf of xyz issue

did those credits go toward your undergraduate degree? That's why lsac ask for transcripts for anything related to UG like a community college summer course you took in high school that transferred toward your degree. If somehow you didn't use those credits or you made them P/F so you only get completion credit, those grades should factored into your gpa.
Yes they count toward the completion of my degree, but they do not count toward my undergraduate GPA. Also, the guidelines on LSAC seem contradictory. They want transcripts from all the places I attended, but they only want foreign transcripts if I attended for more than a year, which I did not. The classes should be included on my undergraduate transcript since they count towards completion credit, but, again, they don't factor into my gpa.

I guess your school treated them as pass/ fail without using those terms. You can see your unofficial Transcript. it is weird they still gave you a grade b/c your grades will be turned into the LGPA. And they just take anything graded unless stated as remedial toward it... I would honestly ask LSAC and explain your situation and if their is a way for them to know how your school viewed the grades and how you saw them as P/F.
